Dmitris was a great driver who took us to Nafplio from Athens. Though a lengthy drive each way, it is scenic and a nice break away from Athens. He was very informative as we discussed everything from Greek Mythology to present day Greek economic issues. Nafplio itself is a lively small town with quaint shops, many open air cafes along a pretty harborside....a picture perfect day. We went in early October and have had sunny pleasant weather with a cool breeze, highly recommend!

Spend more time in nafplio town
Our private drive was very pontual and explain whole history about Athens and nafplio . The only think I would change was not stop at the canal and the castle which did not get my attention
Despite that nafplio is a stunning town , wish stay there longer and enjoy the beach

Excellent day trip!

A tour of Nafplio
This was such a wonderful way to get a different perspective of Greece. We enjoy our tour guide very much. It such a beautiful drive seeing the orange, & olive orchards. The mountains were beautiful as well.
The town was charming, clean and we had a wonderful time. Consider this tour after being in Athens!!

A must do day trip
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Greece! Everything was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, and the drive was scenic and relaxing.
Nafplio was absolutely stunning—full of charm, history, and incredible views. We loved exploring the fortress, walking the picturesque streets, and enjoying some local bites by the sea. There was a great balance of guided stops and free time.
If you’re in Athens and want to see more of Greece’s beauty, this day trip is a must. Highly recommend

Day tour to Nafplio
Our driver was a great guy, on time and pleasant. Sadly, we were disappointed as there was no information, historical background or bit of helpful information shared. His role was evidently that of a driver and no more. It would have been cheaper to hire a taxi.
