Lola was a likeable, knowledgeable guide who made the tour very interesting. I would recommend it. However, it should have been clearer that you don’t pick up your headphones or ticket from the palace.
You don't pick up your tickets at the Palace, it is half mile away and if you have mobility issues, get a cab, because you get a ticket at the location and have to walk back to the other side of the palace for entry. Be use to give yourself at least 30 minutes just to pick up the ticket. Additionally, Viator advertises it includes an audio guide. When we returned to the. Palace they said it did not include audio guide and had to pay an additional 10 Euros. I only have the receipt on our credit card statement, which will not have for a couple of weeks.

Our guide Enrique was great. Very knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. Took the shorter of the tour options, was the perfect amount of time.
You need to be aware that the provider does not send you your tickets by email. You have to walk 10 minutes in the heat of Madrid to the office where you pick up the printed tickets. They are also not very happy to see you when you show up. Then you have to go back and stand in line at the Palace entrance (there is only one). In addition, the audioguide has to be downloaded as an app and you have to use your own headphones. If you have a child (children do not have phones) then they cannot use the audioguide you have paid for. I had to pay an additional 10 euros for the audioguide at the Palace which is excellent and very child friendly. Has challenges on it to complete at the Palace. The visit itself is highly recommended. On the morning of the visit, VIATOR sent me an email asking me to come at a different time to the one I had booked. It was very confusing.

The audio guide we paid for was useless, there are about ten audio tracks but they don't even relate to what we are seeing. Those who took a self-guided tour had dialogue for every room they entered

Our Guide Ruben, like the sandwich, was fantastic. He was very insightful and had lots of information. He was easy to understand and was able to answer all of our questions. We got through the tour in under 90 minutes, which seemed to be enough time, but not unnecessarily long.
It does not include entry to the kitchen and not the pharmacy or library. Loved that the audio guide was blue tooth enabled for people with hearing loss.

I didn't realize that we had to go to a separate location first to check in and have our guide walk us there. Once we figured that out, all was good.
we had not made any reservation n arrived at 10:10 on sunday morning. we waited for about 15min for security clearance. v nice walk there. free storage for my back pack.
