My cooking class was amazing!!! The experience started with a guided tour of the market where we selected spices for the recipes. The cooking teacher shared several interesting anecdotes about the market, Thai food, and Buddhist beliefs. Then, we cooked 4 Thai recipes: the famous pad thai, green curry with chicken, sweet and sour Tom Yum soup, and mango sticky rice! We also learned to make green curry paste. The cooking teacher was very attentive, pedagogical, kind, funny, and warm. At the end of the class, I even received a Thai cooking certificate. I recommend this cooking class with Maliwan without hesitation!

We had a wonderful time at this cooking class! It was so cool to get to go to a wet market and buy some of our cooking supplies ourselves and we think it was a great value for our money. We made so many Thai dishes and this was a great way to end our trip to Bangkok!

Great experience! The staff was kind and helpful. The market trip was very interesting, and the tuk tuk ride was an added bonus surprise. We very much enjoyed the experience, and the food turned out great!

One of the best things I have done in Bangkok. The market shopping at the start was informative. The entire time I was provided with water and there is an air conditioned room to eat in at the end. I found the whole morning to be really fun and interesting. We made 4 different dishes. There was too much to eat in one go but we were all able to take the leftovers away. Every dish was delicious as we were able to season to our own tastes. I will definitely be making these again when I get home.

Very informative, hands on cooking class

We really enjoyed this Thai cooking class. The instructor and assistant were amazing and helped make the class even more special. The food was phenomenal and we went from thinking it was something we could never do on our own to something very manageable and doable. The market visit was fun and interesting and another way for us to experience the local Thai Culture. We highly recommend this class, especially with this particular tour provider.

Maliwan and his team are a complete and very rewarding activity that introduces us to the art of Thai cuisine and the customs of local markets, all in a very warm and caring atmosphere. The taste on the plate after the course is really very appreciable and brings together all the expected flavors and more. We highly recommend.
