ボールパークは、コロラド ロッキーズ野球チームの本拠地であるクアーズ フィールドを中心とした活気あるエリアで、上層席からは山々の景色を眺めることができます。スタジアムの周囲には、ブリューパブやピザ屋、ゆったりとしたジャズ クラブ、広々とした景色を望む屋上バーが混在しています。
この建物は 1889 年にマダム ジェニー ロジャースによって建設され、ロッキー山脈西部で最も高級な売春宿となりました。もう一人の有名な遊女、マティー シルクスが 1911 年からこの店を経営していましたが、1915 年頃に連邦法令により閉鎖されました。この建物は 1920 年から 1998 年まで仏教寺院と倉庫として使われていました。
クアーズ フィールドは、メジャー リーグ ベースボールのコロラド ロッキーズの球場です。1995 年にオープンしたこの球場は、デンバーのローワー ダウンタウン地区に位置し、ユニオン駅から 2 ブロックです。野球場の収容人数は 50,144 人です。
デンバーの中心部にあるローワー ダウンタウン (別名 LoDo) は、懐かしさと現代性が見事に融合した場所です。この賑やかな地区には、約 100 軒のレストラン、クラブ、ギャラリー、ショップ、ホスピタリティ ビジネスが集まっており、住民にも観光客にも最適な場所です。LoDo の豊かな歴史は、サウス プラット川とチェリー クリークの合流点で金が発見された 1858 年にまで遡ります。

Our food tour in Denver with our guide Nick was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the city's history, food scene, and local culture, and he shared fun, interesting stories along the way. You could tell he enjoys what he does. He also went above and beyond to make sure the group was taken care of, coming prepared with sunscreen, making sure we had water, etc. The experience was the perfect mix of great eats and learning about Denver.
