The second I laid eyes on Fabrizio, I knew we were going to have a wonderful experience. He was as knowledgeable and credible as I knew he would be. All his stories, which I am sure he has told many times before, sounded like he had just thought of them in the moment. Just a terrific afternoon listening to Fabrizio's stories of political intrigue surrounding the Medici family.

Silvia, our private guide was very attentive and knowledgeable about the Medici family. Throughout the rooms we experienced the magnificent artistries of the times. Sad to say there was one room we were unable to gain access to for whatever the reason. Only 5 participants were allowed in the room, but time was hampered by the continued closure. Silvia and our party was disappointed that the experience we paid for was unable to gain access.

Our guide was excellent and very funny. There’s so much to see in the Vecchio gallery and our guide focused on the key masterpieces. Definitely worth while having a guided tour.

Our tour guide was lovely and worked hard to show us everything. She was very knowledgeable and had many pictures to aid in showing the details of the ceiling art. I was very impressed with the Palazzo Vecchio. I think it's overshadowed by all of the other incredible places in Florence but it was a smaller, more bite-sized visit which made it easier to digest. There was a mix-up on the meeting spot although it was not the tour guide's fault. The tour meeting info from TripAdvisor just had 'Piazza della Signoria' as the meeting spot which is a huge area with dozens of other tours happening concurrently...so we ended up starting late even though all of us were there early because we couldn't find each other.
