We had a great experience with our Tour Expert Filipe. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We were in a group of less than 8 people which was excellent as opposed to being in a big bus. The weather was good which made the stops along the coast even better with no fog. I recommend this tour if your visiting the area.
We wanted to visit Fatima and went in a group of 8 with Living Tours. Orlando told us what to expect and was informative and amusing. He deftly handled the tour in Spanish and English and patiently handled the traffic in Combria. We were surprised by how large the pilgrimage site was, with basilica, church and grounds to accommodate hundreds for Mass. Orlando had warned us not to expect a historical town, rather it’s a modern town built around what used to be a village. We were happy he was our tour guide and would be very happy to go on another tour with him next time we’d be back in Porto.
We were mainly interested in going to Fatima. Could have easily skipped the morning stop in Coimbra. Fatima experience was great. We were able to attend a mass with all the free time there. Was a long day.
Fantastic visit. I particularly loved the Coimbra area and learning everything about the representative statues of the different fields of knowledge. The Orlando guide was spectacular - very patient and informative!

We booked this tour months before we were coming to Porto. About 3 weeks before the tour, we were informed by the tour company that it was a special day in Fatima with the blessing of the helmets and if time permitted we could go the day before or the day after so as to have a less crowded experience. Fortunately we had some flexibility so we changed the day. We were so thankful, because it was not busy at all. Our guide Carlos Chaves did a great job and we had a great time. Would highly recommend.
