Nelson was an absolutely fantastic driver and guide for our journey from Porto to Lisbon. Along the way, he took us to Aveiro, Nazaré, Fátima, and Óbidos, making the journey itself a highlight of our trip. Nelson struck the perfect balance between sharing his wonderful knowledge of Portugal’s history and culture and giving us the freedom to explore each destination at our own pace. He was informative, engaging, professional, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire day. His insights brought each place to life, and his flexibility allowed us to enjoy the sights without ever feeling rushed. The drive was comfortable, seamless, and thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Rui! There could not be a better way to travel between Lisbon and Porto. This was by far the best day of our entire trip. Our amazing guide, Rui, is intimately familiar with Portugal and provided so much helpful history and background that enriched our visits. Rui drove us from Portugal to Aveiro, where he helped us take a canal ride while he picked up a special local treat (ovos moles) for us to enjoy upon our return. We then went to Fatima, and he made sure we got to all of the stops we wanted including the homes of the three children. We also visited a very authentic cafe where we surrounded by true locals. Finally, we stopped in Óbidos and went to two amazing places to try ginja, a cherry liquor, and walked the medieval streets of the city. We ended in Lisbon, and Rui drove us through the city, explaining various areas and providing recommendations. We had so much fun and my family agreed it was the highlight of our entire trip. Rui is kind, generous, funny, and authentic, and he is an excellent guide. I booked the trip with 3 stops, which was designed to total around 9 hours. The tour company was flexible as to which stops we ultimately made, and whether we did all 3 or just did 2 with longer stops—you don’t need an exact plan when you book. We brainstormed our itinerary with Rui before settling on the specific cities, and we are so glad we took his recommendations, because they made all the difference! Thank you, Rui and Wonder Tours!

Tiago our driver was great! We picked 4 places to stop from Porto to Lisbon. He gave us a few pointers along the way. He's not a tour guide if that is what you are looking for. Everyone in our group enjoyed the drive and the views along the way!

This drive was a fabulous way to experience dramatic and beautiful sites between Porto and Lisbon. Mario was beyond amazing. Articulate, informative, and entertaining. Could not ask for more!

Vasco was friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and meeting the needs of our group. He took us to great shops and restaurants. We saw beautiful scenery and beaches. He answered all of our questions about the area, people, and traditions.

Our Driver Vasco went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. He took us to some of the out of the way places to give us the best experience. Nazare was my favorite.

Great way to travel from Porto to Lisbon. Private car,. Luis was an excellent driver, and tour guide. We were spending several days in Porto and then we’re coming to Lisbon to catch our cruise boat. Highly recommend this company and guide.

Tiago was a great guy who drove very well and got us safely to Lisbon. We stopped at 4 towns along the way which were lovely to see - the time spent in each was a bit rushed but we got a feel for each place. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get from Porto to Lisbon.
