Best of the Best - Lived up to its name
When my wife and I were planning our "bucket list" trip to Rome the top of our to do list was a visit to The Vatican. Having looked at many options for guided tours we came across the What a Life Tours "Best of the Best " 3 hour small group tour which seemed to fit everything we wanted to do - skip the queues, visit the Vatican museums, the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica.
Elaine, our friendly and amusing guide, shared her wide ranging knowledge of the Vatican's history and treasures in a way that was informative without being overpowering, all the time guiding us through the crowds and getting us to the most advantageous viewing points to fully appreciate the splendour and intricacies of the architecture, artwork and sculptures of all 3 buildings.
We would have no hestition in recommending this tour.

Like going on a tour given by your friend from Rome.
Very personable, on time, called ahead, tons of knowledge and even had answers to the random questions from a 9-year old.

Edward (DoDo). Was...
Edward (DoDo). Was excellent. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was on time. We beat the queues with the tour starting at 8.30am. I get bored very quickly but he kept us engaged throughout. Thank you and hope to book again soon. Highly recommended.

Eduardo was fantastic...
Eduardo was a fantastic guide for our family of four including two older teenagers. He was knowledgeable, interesting and easy to deal with. We had an 8.30am timeslot to beat the crowds which I would highly recommend.

Excellent tour of the Vatican
John from What a Life Tours gave us a great tour of the Vatican, the dome and the crypt at St Peter’s. Later that evening we did a walking tour of central Rome with him. What a Life does a better job than others I’ve worked with of getting guides who really know the subject matter. If you want more than the standard review of touristy details, I strongly suggest you work with these guys.

Tour cancelled at start time, but a refund was issued.
Our tour was canceled right when our group was ready to leave. It was frustrating and certainly messed up our travel schedule, but the company did issue a refund the next day.

Impressive
Marcello Moghbel was a fantastic guide. The tour was perfect. His knowledge of the Area was impressive. Keep in mind there are a lot of steps.
