I went there in 1982
I actually went in August 1982,moving to SD, CA. It was still active though called ghost town. There was a woman that was the last living person to live there. It was interesting, we got a piece of silver ore. Here it is 3 2025, and it looks like they made a campground. We stayed in a motel( wagonwheel). It was really nice going there, esp when 1 woman could tell what her life was like growing up there
