このツアーでは、シェムリアップのトンレサップで最大の水上村を見に行きます。また、シェムリアップの外にある地元の市場を見に行くので、地元のカンボジア人の本当の生活を体験できます。最後に、町に戻り、ワット・トミー・キリング・フィールドを見に行きます。そこでは、残忍なクメール・ルージュ政権について学ぶことができます

朝食後、シェムリアップの町の南東約 50 km にあるカンポン クレアンまで 1 時間のドライブを開始します。シェムリアップで最大の水上村で、10,000 人以上が住んでいます。約 90% がクメール民族、10% がベトナム民族です。ここに住む人々のほとんどは、漁業、農業、貿易、観光で生計を立てています。 Kampong Khleang に向かう途中で、立ち寄ってクララン (竹のもち米) と呼ばれる地元の軽食を味わい、田園地帯を探索します。 Kampong Khleang では、高さ 8 m の高床式の家、ハウス ショップ、学校、修道院が見られます。養魚場もあります。乾季には、村を歩くことができます。水上集落では、ボート、竹筏、古いドラム缶で建てられた水上家屋を見ることができます。移動式ボートショップと学校があります。また、地元の人々がどのように日常生活を送っているかを見ることができる地元の市場も訪れます。
シェムリアップ市に戻り、長く血みどろの内戦で使用された軍用車両や武器を展示する戦争博物館を訪れます。私たちのツアーガイドは、この戦争中の彼の人生経験を共有します.

Started off with a problem. Local outfit listed reservation for the wrong month, hence they failed to pick us up. After a few phone calls and apologies everything got worked out. The first stop was a “floating village” loved the concept, but the water was so low the boat struggled to moved through the channels. I honestly think we turned around earlier than expected because of the difficulty . The next stop was lunch. Dropped off at a restaurant slightly out of the way. Food okay, but expensive for local food. Next stop was the monestary which paid homage to the killing fields. You definitely need to stop here for the information about this event in Cambodias history. You pay to enter, not part of the tour! Last stop is at a place called the war museum. Avoid it! Just a bunch of rusted out military equipment from different. Countries involved with Cambodia. So many duplicates. Not worth the $10usd that you pay! Again not part of the tour. A long day but great guide and driver.

We’re truly sorry for late pickup due our wrong note of tour date (and really appreciate your patience after the calls and apologies). We knew that the water is low but we still put available for booking because most of our customers like to experience lifestyles of people living at lake in dry and flooded seasons. Usually tour guides recommend you a clean restaurant where tourists eat just in case you get sick, so the price is higher then food selling a long the road. The entrances fee of Killing Fields and War Museum aren’t included ( it mentions in the grams that you would knew before you booked the tour. We add War Museum in this tour is to prove history of war in Cambodia and what type of military weapons were used. Our main purpose for this tour is to share stories of the families , relatives and guide’s personal experiences during bad time. we’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the guide and driver and that the day.
