Thank you Sum CHEATH for the guided tour. Such a fascinating and dark history that we should all learn from.

This is one of the most emotional tours I’ve done. The guide’s (bus ride) pre-visit introductory speech had me in tears before I even set foot on location! His passionate plea for ‘the world to learn what actually took place’ really struck a chord as I endeavoured to comprehend the totality of the Cambodian genocide. Yes, there are audio guides at each location, but having a personal guide was fundamental to understanding the unabridged truth of Pol Pot’s Khmer Regime. It was also essential for knowing how to split time at each location. Pick-up & drop-off was on time with excellent communication - I was SO thankful for the bus AC and cold bottles of water to help me cool down! Every human should learn about the atrocities which occurred at the Killing Fields and S-21 and I highly recommend this tour to help with just that.

This was a great tour. Our guide, Sem Reaksa, was very knowledgeable and we appreciated learning from him. The cold water provided was really helpful on such a hot day. While a heavy tour emotionally, there was a great balance of guided tour and free time to explore and reflect.

Our guide Sem picked us up from our hotel on time, he was courteous and very knowledgeable. Spoke good english and explained the history of the killing fields and Z21 museum in details. He gave fair warning on graphic descriptions to ensure our son was going to be okay with it. Loved the tour and it was a somber reminder of how recent the terrible atrocities were from.

The trip itself was fascinating, somewhere that I think you need to see. Our tour guide Reaksa Sem was brilliant, provided information for the whole tour including on the bus to and from. He was absolutely brilliant.

I rated it 5 stars as it was very educational and something we should all learn about, so its never forgotten, our guide Cheath spoke excellent English and was fully knowledgeable about the genocide, his explanation on route as much as it was graphic was spot on, Cheath guides you round the killing field and S21 the genocide museum, he explains exactly what your seeing and puts context to it all.we got to meet 2 genocide survivors one at each venue, i bought a book from each site, that was written by the survivors. Best guided tour I have done in SEA! 🤓 the guide, Reaksa Sem, is incredibly well spoken and kind. He made sure we were attended at all times, explaining everything in detail. It was also very interesting to hear a more personal/family side of the history of the country. It is a very hard tour, as a subject is quite heavy and violent, but the guide made it easier to digest and learn from it! We also had the chance to meet 2 survivors which was very special. Very grateful I had a chance to do it and would highly recommend!

Reaksa was very knowledgeable on what must be a very hard subject to talk about. Tour wasn’t rushed and was very respectful. It is hard to listen to and see at times, but is a vital part of Cambodian history that should not be forgotten about.

Our tour guide Reaksa Sem was engaging, punctual and kind. His English was fantastic and he guided the difficult day with insight and respect. Water was provided and logistics with the bus were smooth. Highly recommend!

This country has a sad past.. This tour lead by Reaksa & driver , was very good, nicely explained with questions answered.. It was better to do this tour, rather than going solo with audio headphones on site.
