This experience was truly unforgettable and without a doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip. We were a group of 17 people looking to experience real Mexican culture and authentic cuisine, and this event exceeded every expectation. Since we were traveling outside the main season, we contacted Cancun Food Tours directly to organize a private experience. From the very first interaction, they were incredibly friendly, flexible, and open to our ideas and requests. Communication was smooth, everything was clearly explained, and we reached an agreement quickly and effortlessly. The night started with a private lucha libre workshop, which was intense, sometimes painful, but above all incredibly fun. It gave us a real appreciation for how physically demanding and complex lucha libre truly is. Immediately after, we were treated to two private matches that were absolutely action-packed. The atmosphere was electric, the setting was amazing, and to our surprise, we even got pulled into the action ourselves! Spectacular! After the show, we took a short ride to a local restaurant for dinner and it turned out to be some of the best food we had during our entire stay in Mexico. Everything was delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented, and the restaurant itself was gorgeous.

The tequila tasting experience was very professional, generous, and well-done. And the show was terrific. The arena is super professional, and the actors (fighters) were super enthusiastic and serious about their roles. Some of them were pretty incredible athletes too. My kids had never seen "Lucha Libre" and were quite skeptical, but they enjoyed it very much. Would definitely do this again.

When you have the choice between watching this show or going on any other excursion, ALWAYS CHOOSE THIS SHOW. It's fun, well ventilated, and highly exciting.

A brand new venue that has top-notch entertainment! The facility was clean and the entertainers engaged with the crowd in a fun way (including small children). Margaritas and tacos were delicious. The tour director happened to be the announcer (Carlos) and was sincere and honest and ensured we were having a good time.

The show was great silly fun. The arena was comfortable, and there was popcorn and soda to purchase. The wrestlers were hammy and audience participation was encouraged. Women wrestlers would be even more fun. The tacos were tasty but minimal -- three corn tortillas with three spoonfuls of meat. The margaritas were good, but weak. You eat outside in a covered courtyard, standing at plank tables, after the show. Transportation was by taxi and disorganized. Note: We purchased this activity thru the cruise line, and it was very overpriced for what we got. $139/per adult, $109 per child.

An absolutely delightful evening - we would wholeheartedly take this tour again! We were treated to an abundance of delicious food across the three stops, leaving us with a delightful challenge of trying to savor it all. Make sure to bring some cash with you for the market visit and for tipping the mariachis. At the last restaurant there was also someone doing the pictures in sombreros - it was around $12 (USD) to buy one if you wanted it. The Lucha Libre matches were the definite highlight, offering three bouts packed with all sorts of costumes and entertaining antics. It was an immersive experience, as the excitement often spilled over into and interacting with the crowd, making us feel like an integral part of the action. The true stars of the tour were undoubtedly our fantastic guides, G & Angel. They navigated the evening with seamless expertise, providing informative explanations along the way. Thanks to their efforts, we were treated like VIPs and enjoyed front row seats to the Lucha Libre. Their attention to detail ensured we had an absolutely wonderful evening. Overall, this tour was an unforgettable evening filled with delicious food, delightful entertainment, and impeccable guiding. We can't wait to relive this experience again in the future!

G and Angel (Ankhil) were terrific. Easy pick up at our resort to a few places to get a taste of Cancun and then the food and entertainment was perfect. Easy drop off back to the resort too. They did fantastic. I would tell everyone to experience this if you can. Amused and full !!

The night was loads of fun! Our tour guide, G, had great energy. Throw yourself into the fun of it and you’ll have a good time. The luchadores are fantastic acrobats and performers, though I was expecting more energy from the locals in the crowd! The tour felt quite rushed, as we didn’t get to spend long at any destination or enjoy any drinks. The food was nice, but I would’ve appreciated more flavour from vegetables etc. we were expecting a little bit more for the price of the tour also, compared to other events we have done in cancun. The ticket covers the food and a few drinks, plus entry into the wrestling, Since the tour, we’ve both had digestive issues. I can’t say if it is from the food on the tour or not, but I’d advise you take plenty of probiotics before the trip and leave the next day free to recover to be extra safe!

Cancun Food Tours, you ruined a precious half day of a family with small children, we saved moneys for a long time to be here and can't digest to have been scammed this way! We requested a pick up in a resort of Playa del Carmen. We received a message on the app stating that an agent wearing a red polo shirt with the company logo would come by the lobby at 4:05 calling out our names. We stayed by the entrance door from 3:50 till 5:30. We called Cancun Food Tours via WhatsApp, normal call, messaged them on WhatsApp while they appeared online, tried via the App too and with the reception phone.. no one ever answered. Finally I went to check with a taxi station close-by, spoke with a dozen taxi drivers, they were nice and tried to be helpful by researching on their phone but no one ever heard of such thing and no one could find any information, not even a location where to take us. Save yourself an headache. DO NOT BOOK with these Thieves. I hope someone at viator will help to get full refund
