Visiting the Ipiranga Museum is an experience that blends culture, history and a breathtaking architecture. The building itself is already a work of art, and after the restoration, the space became even more accessible and modern. The interior stairs are majestic and perfect for photos. Every detail of the ceiling and the statues impresses. The outer area with the fountains is a separate spectacle. It is the perfect place for a relaxing walk, whether sitting on a bench enjoying the movement or walking near the waters. Great and book tickets in advance! But TB is affordable to buy there.

An amazing museum providing tremendous details about the history of Brazil. The information was interesting, truthful and eyeopening. There were a good variety of exhibits including paintings, displays of tools, household items, books, replicas, and an overlook of the massive city. We spent about three hours and still did not see everything but we learned so much in a short period of time. The museum has elevators for the upstairs exhibits. The lines to enter the museum were not very long so we did not have a long wait time. The view in front of the museum with water sprinklers and garden is a marvelous attraction all by itself. This is definitely a must see.

We had an amazing visit to the Ipiranga Museum, and what really made it special was our guide, Danilo. We honestly lucked out getting him. He was friendly, passionate, and knew so much—not just the usual facts, but deeper stories and details that made everything come alive. The museum itself is beautiful, but Danilo really brought the history to life. He made the tour feel personal, engaging, and even fun. If you're heading to the Ipiranga Museum, do yourself a favor and ask for Danilo—you won’t regret it

I had never visited the Museu do Ipiranga in São Paulo before and it is definitely worth a visit. I'm not really into visiting museums myself, but I enjoyed it.

My guide Bruno Ferrari did an excellent job! He was very knowledgable, courteous and considerate. He was punctual, ensured we kept on track with time without making me feel rushed, and checked in with me for water and bathroom breaks. Gave good advice on shopping, made pleasant conversation and was my own personal photographer! Going solo I was a bit wary, but I felt totally safe and comfortable with him. His English was great as well! I would definitely recommend him and request him again if ever I'm back in Sao Paulo. Thanks Bruno for making sure I had a wonderful day!

Wonderful house, or rather Independence Palace, because it is beautiful!!! But, I missed more content from the time of the Empire, there is little information and objects from the time. The exhibition of objects is quite large, very interesting to see crockery and objects from the past. The Mirante is also very good, you have a wonderful view of the city of São Paulo, but I believe there is still work to be done in some areas that are not finished. I didn't like the bathroom, because there were broken locks and most importantly, there was no paper on one of the floors. On the other hand, the bathroom is constantly cleaned, very good. It's worth visiting not only the museum but also the gardens, which are wonderful for spending the day having picnics with the kids. Oh and Wednesday is free.

The Museum is beautiful, it is beautifully preserved, the collection is very complete. All in all, a very good tour for those who like history and beautiful places. It took us almost 4 hours to go through all the areas of the Museum. A tip is to take the elevator up to the viewpoint and then go down and walk through all the floors. The viewpoint has a 360° view with before and now photos to compare the occupancy of the surrounding area. Another tip is if you didn't get your ticket online, get there early, it opens at 9 am, and you'll certainly be able to buy yours. This is what the website suggests.
