This was the best private tour we have taken as a family. Chris took us places that we never would of visited on our own and each place was truly breathtaking. The views, the food, the history, and the people we met while on the tour, were all awesome. From the first conversation to the end of the tour, the communication with Chris was great. If you are looking for a private tour that is going to exceed your expectations, along with tons of laughs along the way, this is the tour for you. This tour was definitely a highlight of our vacation.

We just had an incredible day with Chris! 8 months ago I reached out after seeing all the incredible reviews. I was on another vacation and messaged late at night not expecting to hear back for a couple days. Within minutes I received an email reply and then we chatted and had a call to discuss the options. We corresponded throughout the months and ended up with a day perfectly tailored to my desires with amazing off the beaten path spots added in. I can’t recommend Chris highly enough. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, professional, accommodating, fun and the list goes on and on. And add a side of humor to that. I have been fortunate to be able to have numerous private drivers throughout my traveling vacations. To me, Chris was the best by far! His personality, flexibilty and knowledge of the country are exceptional. We wasn't a "guide", he quickly became a friend. In our pre trip conversation I told him "my wish list" of attractions to see. Not only did he accomplish my list, but took us to additional places that I didn't even knew existed.

Chris and his chocolates made us all have the sweetest immersive experience for our fantastic tour! The full day was stress free from pickup to drop off (even when we changed our drop off point!) We were able to see and speak with wood carvers and chocolateries, enjoyed lunch at the beautiful Giessbach hotel beside a waterfall and the serene lake. The towns we visited with his vast knowledge and quick humor made us feel like we were spending the day with a close family friend. We truly had a blast visiting all the highlights , but a true Interlaken immersive experience included the all the extra special places Chris allowed us to experience. We had the most wonderful experience touring the Interlaken area with our local guide. From the very beginning, it felt less like a formal tour and more like spending the day with a friend who was excited to share all of his favorite places. He introduced us not only to the stunning natural highlights of the region—the mountains, lakes, and waterfalls—but also to hidden gems we never would have discovered on our own. The mix of activities was perfect: taking in the main attractions, riding cable cars with breathtaking views, hiking along beautiful trails, and even stopping for an authentic local lunch that made the day feel truly special. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, giving us a deeper appreciation for the region and its culture. This was easily one of the most memorable parts of our trip, and we left with both incredible memories and a genuine connection to the area. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Interlaken—it’s a must-do!

We did 2 tours with Chris. One from Vitznau to see the Lucerne area. And the Bernese Oberland Tour. Chris was very attentive, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a good time. He offered up many suggestions as to what to do. Gave us many options. And, even worked around my fear of cable cars. He was professional and personable. I would recommend him.

Our Bernese Oberland tour was a once in a lifetime experience. We saw the beauty of Lake Brienz, walked through a beautiful gorge and scootered down the Swiss Alps. Chris created an experience that met the needs of three generations including my 70 y/o parents and my preteen/teen kids. The tour was beautiful and thrilling. Chris safely and joyfully took us outside of our comfort zone. I would highly recommend Chris for anyone thinking about a trip to Switzerland!

My husband and I booked two private tours with Chris (TST). All I can say is WOW! What an incredible experience. Chris is so knowledgeable, kind, and has the best witty English humor. Prior to our trip and during our trip he really got to know us, picked up on small details we would mention, and made sure we were able to see and experience the best of Switzerland. Upon arrival he brought us a welcome gift for our dog back at home and some yummy Swiss chocolate which was beyond sweet. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chris and the beautiful places of Switzerland he knows about to take you. He even gave us recommendations later on in our trip after our tour. Typically Swiss Tours provided a great tour during the limited 1.5 day stop we had in the Interlaken area for my husband and college age son who is studying abroad. We chatted over WhatsApp video chat prior to arriving so that he could get a good idea of what we were looking for in our day. We saw small quaint towns, beautiful scenery and off the beaten path views and experiences. A highlight was the drink we enjoyed at the tiny out of the way bar that we arrived to by cable car while staring at the glorious Swiss mountains.
