ハワイ島：ハワイロアルアウ島

We enjoyed our evening immensely! We arrived at 5:30pm - parking is free at the hotel with validation at the luau. Then there are drinks and some activities (mostly for kids - a game and temporary tattoos) for the first hour as the sun sets (wear sunscreen). Walk to the golf course which is steps away for incredible views (take beautiful pictures here while the sun sets). Then the buffet opens - so many options including salads, seafood and a whole kalua pig! The staff are very kind and efficient so each table is called up separately so there's no long wait once it's your turn. Entertainment by a live band/singers plus a short hula lesson, a fire knife dancer, and many performers. Dessert was a highlight (we recommend the coconut cream haupia!) Unlimited food and drinks (open bar) plus excellent show. Evening ended around 8:15pm. My whole family loved it (two seniors, four adults, and five kids ranging from age 2-15) - it's perfect Hawaiian experience (wear your best Hawaiian attire for nice photos!) Bathrooms very clean and plenty of stalls. Worth the price! Note - I read some reviews mention bugs flying around at dinner - we didn't experience any unwelcome bugs beyond anything normal you would expect in your own backyard if you had food around - the luau staff do a good job of covering food and having mini fans around the food to keep flying insects away. Also read some reviews with disappointing experiences due to rain out - that stinks since this is definitely a good weather experience. Not sure if there is too much to do about that except to check the forecast in advance of booking!

The venue was beautiful and I think the open bar would have made the price worth it, but most of the people in my group were under 21. If you are looking to take cute sunset photos and drink a lot, then I would definitely recommend. However, if you’re coming with anyone under 21, then it’s probably not worth $200 per person. The buffet food was good, especially the fruit, but the food was not hot (it was lukewarm warm at best) because they set it out before the event begins and then you start eating about 30-45 minutes after the start.

It was a well done celebration. Everyone enjoyed it. Kids loved the fire performance. Everyone was very friendly

The show was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The dances were great! Definitely an experience I recommend.

For the money- I was not very impressed. We were taken to table 10 it was full and then moved to the last possible table in the back. Last to eat furthest from stage. Food was like warm at best as the 2nd last table to be released. For over 200.00 a person I don’t know that we found it worth it.

Loved the environment, the beautiful dancers and the calmness and beauty of the host . The food was better than I have heard it could be. If you want salt you may want to bring your own. Ha

Great food, friendly staff loved the show. Went with my family and really loved it! The drinks were phenomenal.

The buffet was awesome and had a wide variety. They offered kids options, vegetarian options and gluten free options. There’s was something for everybody. The drinks are also bottomless, whether you just want juice or if you want an alcoholic drink. The show was definitely entertaining as well. Me and my family were already wanting to go again before we were even done.

Perfect setting and entertainment for a luau. Food was delicious and well prepared. Totally met expectations for a luau experience. Thank you!

The overall experience was amazing. The only downside was the overwhelming number of flying insects—mosquitoes and gnats were everywhere, and it felt like an infestation. Unfortunately, bugs were getting into the food, which made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. That said, the show was incredible!
