Overall, the places that we visited, they’re beautiful, but getting at a pick up point, they couldn’t find our reservation and we were put on a bus with Italian and Spanish translation, even though we booked the English one. So that made it very hard for us to understand. I feel like we were very isolated from the group. Our guide would speak in Italian regarding a topic but then not provide the English translation for us. We felt we missed out on a lot of the information provided.

Tour Quality
Pick up location was not clear & no one was there 15 minutes before pick up time as required. It was supposed to be all English guided tour, but Portuguese tour group were added and the bus was too crowded, cramped and hot. (Not enough a/c). Guide's English skill was okay at best and he seemed to be inexperienced. Overall, the tour(Lanetour) quality was less than expected.

Recommended but here ‘s how it could be better
First of all this is a good value and all the scary talk about it being steep is nonsense. There is plenty of shade too and the coaches were the right side. The driver was AMAZING.
I want to acknowledge that it’s a lot of work to do these trips and keep up with all the moving parts of accommodating people and keeping up with them.
That said, and with sincerity, it was mayhem at the meeting point. SO MANY PEOPLE and no one there early to sort us all out. We had to query each other, No roped off area and no promised signs.
Our guide was a woman. She had to have given her name but she had no Mike and she was no nonsense in the beginning. With so many people I’m sure she was trying to get the job done but she did not set the stage to truly welcome us. To be fair, she did warm up later.
The other audible issue was that she was soft spoken on the bus and without a proper mike to project her voice we had to really strain to hear her.
Impressively she spoke 5 languages.
Still, she was caring and attentive to detail. And I would recommend this excursion.
I have taken time to write this review so the company will listen and hopefully heed in order to stand out.

Worst experience ever...
Worst experience ever dealing with this company !!
Needed a last minute rescheduled with no success , told us there was nothing they can do about it !!

Beautiful visits, beautiful places that will blow your mind...
Too bad we weren't warned that it was going to be so athletic...
Our guide Lili is very nice and really knows her subject well and is able to juggle between 3 languages (English, French, and Portuguese). Our driver Clay was smiling and pleasant.

Highly recommended trip to see beautiful sights just outside of Lisbon
We had a wonderful day seeing the sights in Cascais and Sintra. Our guide Guillerme made it outstanding! He was fun, energetic, extremely knowledgeable and translated 3 languages seemlessly. Lots of great photo opportunities, some uphill walking but not too strenuous.

Perfect trip!
Our guide was Marcos Lins (Lanetours) and we were so happy to have him! He was super friendly, funny and explained everything very well.
