Our tour with Paola was one of the highlights of our family vacation. She was amazing - she picked us up at our hotel in Florence, along with all of our luggage (there were 6 people in our party) and we toured San Gimignano and 2 wineries in Northern Tuscany before being dropped off at our next lodging destination in Siena. Casa Emma winery was our favorite, and Paola was extremely knowledgeable about the areas history and best places to visit. Her prices are very reasonable and her service was top notch. I can see why Rick Steves' endorses her. Thanks for a wonderful time Paola!

Paola took our family of six on a tour of the Uffizi in Florence on one day, and San Gimignano on another day. Both tours were wonderful. Paola is trained in art history and knew the painters in the Uffizi gallery. She described the painters and their works in a way that was comprehensible and enjoyable to a family who appreciates art but who are not hobbyists or artists themselves. Her manner was calm but friendly and engaging. Her English was excellent. After the Uffizi, she took us on a brief walking tour of the environs around the Uffizi, including a few shops. For San Gimignano, she drove us in her van to the town, described its history, took us to a few shops, and then allowed us time to explore the town on her own. She then took us to a pleasant wine tasting lunch at a nearby vineyard. This was followed by a trip to Siena and a tour of the cathedral, with subsequent free time to explore the city. Finally, she drove us back to Florence. We could not have asked for a better tour guide and experience.

Paola drove and guided us from Florence into historic San Gimignano and Siena, including a winery lunch stop with delicious food, wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar tasting. Wonderful scenery, fascinating hilltop towns. Got many 'tastes' of Tuscany! A well-paced, comfortable trip, and enjoyable experience. Paola is very knowledgeable, and knows the good spots to show us.

Paola was very knowledgeable! We did two back to back tours of Tuscany and the difference between the guides was night and day for the two trips that cost the same amount. Paola shared so many details on each place we stayed. Made recommendations on where to eat and get coffee. We would recommend her to other people seeing Italy.

We did Paola’s private tour of Siena and San Gimignano my teen daughter and I during our summer trip to Florence. We picked this tour because Paola came highly recommended by a well known travel guru. We are glad we chose her. Pick up location was close to our hotel and there was just one other family with us. Paolo drove us in a clean comfortable small van. Our first stop, San Gim was wonderful. I really enjoyed wondering around this beautiful wall town and hearing Paolo’s descriptions and information about what we were seeing. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with wine and olive oil at a beautiful local winery in San Gim. What a wonderful spread and beautiful scenery. Couldn’t ask for more. The weather went on to onto Siena the highlight of which was the beautiful Siena Cathedral. Throughout the tour Paola was accommodating and informative and did her best to ensure that we saw the best of the two towns and that we were comfortable throughout the tour as it was a very hot day. I would recommend Paola for your private tour needs in Florence. She is very good.

Hi, We did 3 tours with Paola and Giuseppe. First, San Gimignano & Siena tour was excellent! We had a wine, olive oil tasting with our experience. We’ve done a number of these types of tastings in different locales and the one on this tour was one of the best ones we’ve experienced. The tours themselves were very well paced and informative. Great views! Next, we did a Florence City tour and Uffizi Gallery. The gallery itself is massive so having a guided tour provided us with the main highlights and themes. Giuseppe’s knowledge of the city and its architecture was excellent. Finally, we did a Ferrari and Lamborghini tour. These were excellent tours as well. Giuseppe was also able to recommend a restaurant and balsamic vinegar tasting - both of which were among our top highlights of our 2 week Italy trip. Paola also provided a fantastic tour guide recommendation for our Venice visit. Our family of five was very happy with all 3 tours and our Venice experience. Paola is professional and trustworthy. Giuseppe had a great sense of humour and was engaging throughout our two days with him as our tour guide. We continued to use his one liners with each other after we were done our tours. We highly recommend Florence Tour and would not hesitate to use them again.
