It was a truly memorable experience with the tour guides Lily and Stella. While Lily shared valuable information about the places of visit in a humorous way, Stella was always very understanding about the needs of senior citizens, making sure everyone got attention. The time alloted for each visit was good and the wine tasting with lunch was excellent
Experience with guide was amazing. My husband and I went as part of our first trip to Italy and enjoyed the one day trip to St. Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and Sienna from Florence. You have to be ready to walk in order to enjoy the views but we'll worth the experience. Scenery of the land between Florence and the Chianti area is amazing.
The lunch and wine was delicious and an incredible experience, John the sommelier was super engaging and knowledgeable. San Gimignano was our favourite, the views were incredible and a real pinch yourself moment. Lilly our guide for the day was very friendly and made sure we were all accounted for, she was also very fun with her little touches of humour, she’s not reading from a script here. This is a jam packed day where you get to see three different cities so expect sometimes quite quick stops or not heaps of leisure time, but the payoff is a great feeling at the end of the day. The last guide we had for the full tour of Siena city felt like he was a little stressed trying to get all the information out and struggled a bit to keep it concise however we still loved getting to see the city and be guided around because honestly we would have gotten ourselves lost. The final cathedral is breathtaking, go inside it’s worth it, find the library room you won’t be disappointed. Getting to Pisa early is a great idea to try to avoid some of the crowd and our coach was clean and comfortable. Charging ports onboard worked and the aircon was also good too. The double deck makes for good sightseeing on the drive.
A wonderful trip—highly recommended. The tour was efficiently organized, and everything ran smoothly. We traveled in a comfortable coach, with Richardo driving us safely to magical locations. The lunch and wine tasting were excellent. Our guides, Lily and Stella, were truly fantastic. I also recommend choosing the option that includes a guided tour of Siena; it is a fascinating city steeped in history, featuring a magnificent cathedral. I feel that without a guide, it would be easy to get lost or miss out on interesting sights. Overall, a solid 5-star experience.
