正式にはサンタ マリア アスンタ大聖堂として知られるピサのドゥオーモは、イタリアのピサの象徴的なミラコリ広場にある壮大な中世の大聖堂です。独特のロマネスク様式の建築で有名な大聖堂は、見事な大理石のファサード、複雑な彫刻、印象的な青銅の入り口の扉が特徴です。大聖堂の内部には、ジョバンニ ピサーノによる説教壇の彫刻など、印象的な芸術作品が展示されています。ピサのドゥオーモは、ピサの建築と芸術の遺産の証として建っており、世界中から観光客が訪れます。

マンジャの塔は、イタリアのシエナの中心部にある印象的な中世の塔です。プッブリコ宮殿に隣接して建つこの象徴的な建造物からは、市街とその周辺のパノラマの景色を眺めることができます。 1348 年に完成したこの塔は高さ 87 メートルに達し、今もシエナの中世遺産の顕著なシンボルとなっています。
大聖堂の入場と内部のガイド付き訪問は、オプションが選択された場合にのみ行われます。正式にはサンタ マリア アスンタ大聖堂として知られる、シエナにある見事な中世の大聖堂です。独特のゴシック建築で有名な大聖堂は、複雑な彫刻で飾られた壮大なファサードを誇っています。内部では、ドナテロやミケランジェロなどの有名な芸術家によるフレスコ画、モザイク、彫像などの素晴らしい芸術作品を鑑賞できます。大聖堂の息を呑むような内部には、印象的な大理石の舗装と壮大なピッコロミニ図書館もあります。
大聖堂への入場オプションが選択された場合のみ - シエナ大聖堂内にあるピッコロミニ図書館は、ピントゥリッキオによる鮮やかなフレスコ画で飾られたルネサンスの宝石です。これらの芸術作品は教皇ピウス 3 世の依頼により彼の生涯の場面が描かれており、シエナ大聖堂内に文化的、芸術的宝物を生み出しています。

It was a hot scorching day and yet, it was a wonderful experience! Aaron did an amazing job in ensuring my family and I are taken cared of and he was very professional and friendly. Mirco was great getting us to our destination safely and on time! Thank you both for making our Italy trip one for the books!

Bring your walking shoes! This is such an amazing experience. Ricardo (host) and Ali (driver) were awesome. You get to the Leaning Tower early enough that you can take your pictures before the crowds start gathering. Then our sommelier Valentino made lunch at San Gimignano interactive and fun! If you’ve never had a vinegar tasting or Basalmic Vinegar tasting, it’s pretty cool. And the wine was pretty good, too. Our final stop at Siena with the guided tour (I didn’t get our tour guide’s name) was also fun and interactive. One note on the guided tour: Siena had a lot of rowdy crowds due to the upcoming horse race so it was hard to hear the guide at times. Overall, 10/10 would recommend this whole day Tuscany tour!

Timing was punctual, bus was clean and air conditioned, guide Aaron was very kind and informative. Plenty of “free time” to wander, explore, shop during stops. 30-40 minutes of walking to and from destinations cumulative, was very hot in August but wonderful experience.
