A relatively young, family-run winery, but in my opinion, one with great potential. This is demonstrated by the fact that they are very attentive to producing quality wine, with cutting-edge techniques at every moment of the winemaking process. The storage of oak barrels in the cellar is interesting, with a controlled environment and the barrels placed horizontally on special racks that manually rotate the barrel on itself by means of 4 small rubber wheels, making it complete a 360-degree turn on itself. An ingenious method that allows the wine to breathe in place. The staff members are very kind; they welcomed us with a glass of ice-cold, house-made gin (very much appreciated). Very thorough in explaining the production process of their excellent wine. You can immediately see their dedication to work to make their wine superior.
It was a nice experience in itself. Also the price/quality. However, if the glasses were empty, they were immediately taken away and put in the dishwasher. We were clearly the last group of the day. Apparently they wanted to go home quickly. We were also at the table with people from different backgrounds. They got extra "bites". They will have paid for it, but it's strange that this is mixed up.

The tour and wine tasting are at the Terre del Marchesato winery, near Bolgheri. The location is dreamily beautiful and like something out of a photo atlas of Tuscany. The tour was in excellent English and is highly professional. The wine tasting takes place in a private room and the wines are of very good quality. They range from good table wines to high-priced signature wines. Wine shop naturally attached.

What a beautiful environment and what incredibly kind people. Our guide was a very kind lady who was also interested in us and later gave advice on visiting Bolgheri. We were busy for about an hour and a half, but they gave us all the time to quietly drink our wine.
Very interesting visit to a beautiful family-run winery. Clear and engaging explanation, excellent hospitality, and tasting of quality, well-presented wines. We also added a separate tasting of the Tarabuso, a Cabernet Sauvignon that we particularly enjoyed. Absolutely positive and recommended experience.
