Nothing felt rushed or generic. She also understood exactly the kind of local experience we were after. The roadside lunch stop was authentic, delicious and one of the best food moments of the day. Knowledgeable about both substantive historical issues and navigating minor Chinese bureaucracy advantageously (maximizing ticket discounts for kids, etc) as well as good with families. Wendy is an absolutely fantastic tour guide. We’re a family with four kids, with different energy levels, hunger levels, and attention spans. Wendy was so patient, kind, resourceful, and interesting that everyone - even my neurodivergent hormonal teen and my crankier youngest loved her. She explains things very clearly, tells fantastic stories, and is sufficiently engaging that my kids absorbed more in a day than they do in a month of school. She taught us all so much even just on the ride from the hotel to the Terracotta Warriors - and her knowledge base is vast, so she answers questions about much more than just the sites we were seeing. Could not recommend her more highly. Thank you Wendy for a fantastic day in Xi’an - it was one of our favorite days of our month in Asia.

The full-day adventure was excellent. Our guide, Wendy, and driver picked us up from our hotel and everything was handled from beginning to end. Wendy has an great energy and deep knowledge of the sites. She was very receptive to all our questions. During our tour, a member of our party had a health issue that required extra attention. Wendy was very helpful and patient. She knew the sites well and was able to arrange for a wheelchair and places to rest until we could return to the vehicle. We were all very grateful for her thoughtfulness and experience. Would highly recommend her services.
A wonderful visit to a wonderful city! In just one day, we got to experience all the must sees of Xi An, including the great terracotta warriors. Wendy, our guide, was very educated and experienced, and absolutely charming throughout the whole journey. We even got insight on the local cuisine, and had lunch at a famous “biang biang” noodle restaurant, that was delicious. We definitely recommend for all wanting to discover the beautiful city of Xi An!
