Fun day outside of Amsterdam at Zaanse Schans Village. Great tourguide Rob. Informative helpful and courteous. Loved the tour! Windmills were the highlight.

Very quick, but great getaway for a couple hours from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Nice opportunity to get good quality cheese.

A 2 hour drop off time isn’t enough for this area …. 1/2 day & full day would be best … great for families… You can actually get via public transportation/ local bus … but we saved €10 using the guided tour … BEWARE of pickpockets - they frequent most tourist spots - so keep valuables locked up at hotel and minimize your cash flow while travelling …

The tour guide never showed up at the meeting point. We called the emergency number 3 times with the help of Amsterdamets. No one ever answered the phone. We were stranded after paying for an outrageous cab fare from the cruise terminal. Later that night I went on the Viator ap and saw a cancellation message that was sent after the start time. I will feel uncomfortable booking Via Viator Hope fully we will get a refund.

Great, easy way to get from Amsterdam over to the windmill village. The tour guide also arranged the demonstrations for us so we didn’t have to wait in lines. Plenty of free time for a bit of shopping and a baked good with espresso. The bus was clean and well-maintained. 10/10 easy and fun trip.

If you are staying at The Movenpick Hotel, the bus is about a 1/2 mile right on the harbour. We walked a mile to the meeting point across from Amsterdam Central Station, only to double back with the tour guide and 40+ people. If we had known I would have contacted the tour guide to see if we could meet them at the tour bus area. It was a fantastic tour and our guide Anna was great!!

I booked it because it to see the windmills and because it was only three and a half hours long but they decided to add on another site making it an extra hour and a half longer. I could have done without the additional time.

Diedrich was very nice and informative. What to see, where to go, how to make the most of your experience. We also talked about the monkey preserve in Ubud, Bali. I highly recommend Diedrich if you are lucky enough to get him.

We had a lovely informative guide who explained everything well. The area was a true Dutch experience. Watching the clog making, hearing about the cheese making, which included tasting about 35 different cheeses was a treat. The windmills were very large ones. You could even go up in one if you wanted. I would recommend this experience and very close to Amsterdam City.
