Beware - Purchased a tour, my girlfriend got sick, contacted them at 3 AM. Left them a message, received a message the next morning that they would be able to accommodate us. The next day went to the tourist office, and was sent to VELO services who confirmed we would be on the tour the next day. when I asked to have a new copy of tour reservation she just marked my sheet from the day before and said you’ll be fine, Just show up. Later in the afternoon we receive notification that the tour was full and they were unable to accommodate us and no refund. “Beware”

We were not provided walking maps which made the touring difficult. The meeting point should have included the fact that it was small and across the street from theater margarita and a McDonald’s because Google Maps was not very helpful

I am very happy to have chosen the tour with the guide Viviana in Alberobello, I would definitely do it again because it was super interesting and very pleasant!

Beware- it’s all about adding the extras- tuk tuk- boat & guide. I bought Arberobello with guide & Polignano a Mare. The day before we get a text saying excursion time was changed from 9:30 am departure to 9 am departure- requested that we arrive 15 minutes early. They used the time to sell you the tuk tuk ride or a guide in Arberobello. I told them I purchased a guide for Arberobello. That started a whole argument as to if it was already included in my $111 purchase per person. Their normal rate is 77+ the 30, which is what I paid to include the guide. I showed them the receipt and they had the nerve to send me a text. They can arrange a guide provided I pay an additional $30 per person.. furthermore they wanted to change itinerary to include a Town that has tuk tuk tours because Paulina Amari could not accommodate both tours because of choppy seas. We have Gallipoli on a different day so we declined and they gave us a hard time over this. The advertise that these tours are dreams for Tourist. These tours are nightmares for Tourist.. When we finally got to Arabello, I showed them my receipt showing that I paid the higher price for a guided tour of Arbor Robello. They then told me I had to wait one hour for the guide to start her tour. They made us get ready half an hour before the original time and now they’re telling me to wait an hour. It’s like I’m paying them so that I can wait. we did not end up getting a tour of Arabello therefore I am asking via tour to return $60 of my original payment because this company that they’re using is very unscrupulous and very disorganized.

We had a brilliant day on this tour. We'd chosen this as we prefer to have independence to do our own thing when we visit a location, so this was perfect for us as we spent a couple of hours in each place with freedom to wander as we chose. That said, our driver, Andres, was a great host giving us some useful information about each place we visited and pointing out interesting sites along the journey. The trip ran to time and the communication was good throughout so I'd definitely recommend this organiser.

Basically we paid for a van to pick us up, drop us on Alberobello-but for an extra 22euro we could have a guide take us thru the trulli houses (discounted for the regular 30euro price). The van then took us to Polignano a Mare where the guide informed us that she was returning to Bari for “another tour” and the van would pick us up on 2 hours for the return to Bari. I could have just rented a car for the day and saved myself a lot of cash…..this is the first time I have ever been disappointed in a tour booked thru Viatour. But it was VERY disappointing!!

Both Alberobello and Polignano a Mare were great experiences . Due to hot weather , the two hours at each was sufficient . The driver was very friendly and accommodating to our needs . Maybe he could have been more interactive with us ( in English ) along the way , but this is only a little advice going forward . Cheers CK Australia

The five of us were ultra happy with the service and the length of the tours, our tour guides for both tours were attentive, friendly and helpful. As we are going to Naples we will be using the same tour advisor as the experience was amazing.
