This was our first time to Bali and we had the best tour guide, hands down. Kadek Darma was knowledgeable, accommodating, hilarious and made the entire experience memorable. The Temples, Hot Spring, Rice fields, Villages were amazing. Kadek taught us about the culture, different religions and Indonesia overall not just Bali. If you are planning an adventure to Bali, request Kadek Darma.

Yuda was a very friendly guide who was happy to guide us around and give us space when we wanted. He was flexible with the tour and gave us the options to make the most of our day. The locations were all excellent and worth going to.

The whole program was amazing with our guide Gusti. Gusti was knowledgeable and informed about the significance of Balinese culture and traditions and managed the tour well to get the best out of all the activities like coffee tasting, monkey feeding, rice terraces, ulun danu temple, delicious lunch and tanah lot temple. Memorable trip and Gusti also has good photography skills.

Aditya, our driver and guide, was absolutely 5-star. The organisation, pick-up, communication and drop-off were all flawless and made the whole day incredibly easy and stress-free. As for the actual tour: was it worth it? In a way, yes. We can now confidently say we have ticked off the “must-see places in Bali” box. That said, I was somewhat surprised to discover that many of these places seemed less like must-see cultural sites and more like must-take pictures for your social media account. In real life, the locations were, to be honest, rather underwhelming. This is certainly not the operator’s fault — he was simply very accustomed to what many visitors apparently want: the perfect photograph. In that sense, the tour is perhaps more a reflection of modern tourism and the “do it for the gram” mentality than anything else. We had hoped for a little more history, cultural context and meaning behind the places we were visiting. When we asked our guide what else he would recommend seeing in Bali, he seemed somewhat hesitant and ultimately told us that we had already seen the best places. One small word of advice: don’t be too easily fooled by the spectacular photos you see online of endless rice fields or the famous temple gates. The reality around these attractions is often considerably more ordinary — and, dare I say, somewhat less impressive. Having your own private car, driver and guide is, of course, a genuine luxury and makes the experience very comfortable. If your priority is seeing Bali’s most photographed locations and getting those picture-perfect shots, then this tour is certainly worth considering. If, however, you are looking for deeper cultural experiences, history and places that feel genuinely extraordinary beyond the camera lens, you may find yourself wondering where Bali is hiding the really interesting stuff.

Made was a great guide who was polite, patient and very kind to us throughout the whole day. We enjoyed his company thoroughly and he gave us enough space to wander through the different parts of the tour while always being available for help. With Made as our guide we saw parts of Bali that were not as packed with tourists but equally as Beautiful. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone wanting to see some of the quieter but equally stunning parts of Bali. Thanks!
