Alessandra was the perfect teacher! She had wonderful tips, techniques and recipes to share. She made sure we understood the processes and the ingredients! She even took videos of us and shared so we would remember what we learned. Would recommend her highly!! What a wonderful experience… and truly authentic! Would love to learn more from her… now I need to plan another trip to Sorrento!!!

This was an amazing experience with a wonderful local family! Their property is beautiful with amazing views from the hills above Sorrento. Ivan and his wife are wonderful hosts. Ivan is a very patient and talented chef. One of our best memories of Italy! Would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful evening! Also they have beautiful rooms for let but you better book early. They fill up fast.

Alessandra was a terrific host! Her home is beautiful with amazing views of Mt Vesuvius and the towns below. She did an excellent job teaching us both only how to make pasta and tiramisu but the more important points of why certain ingredients and techniques are needed. We took the class with our teenage son and daughter and they both enjoyed it very much also. I would highly recommend this class!! Oh yeah, the pasta was incredible too!!

My family of 7 and I had a cooking class at Ivan’s home and it was amazing. We made our own ravioli, gnocchi, and tiramisu while also being served wine and various small plates. Ivan and his wife and son were all very kind people and made the experience great. On top of the amazing food, the views from the dining table on the top patio were immaculate. Of our entire time visiting Italy (Venice, Sorrento, Rome) this was our favorite stop. I would recommend this place to everyone, and if you would like to stay overnight, his home is a bed and breakfast as well. Amazing experience and when I return to sorrento I will be coming back!

What a wonderful, unique experience! Barbara picked us up at the hotel and brought us to her lovely family home, high in the hills of Sorrento. We made tiramisu, caprese ravioli, and gnocchi, all while sipping prosecco and enjoying conversation with Barbara and her daughter. We had dinner al fresco under the shade of their olive trees, and commented several times that the setting was reminiscent of scenes from a movie. We would do this again in a heartbeat.

We had so much fun making delicious food and eating it! The class was at our instructor's home in the hills of Sorrento with an amazing view of the bay of Naples, and many of the ingredients we used were right from her gardens! Our host and cooking instructor, Alessandra was informative, entertaining and patient! We had very little experience but it didn't matter. She put us right at ease and showed us how to do everything. Her daughter was there to help with translation and she also took some photos and videos. Alessandra sent them to us with the recipes through WhatsApp so that we can make these fabulous dishes again! We made Ravioli, gnocchi and the most delicious tiramisu I have ever eaten! Now that I am home and telling people about my trip these are the photos I show most often!

Our family of six had the most unforgettable experience with Chef Ivan at the Cesarine cooking school in Sorrento. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Chef Ivan was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the evening, guiding us step by step as we prepared two types of ravioli and the most delicious tiramisu we’ve ever tasted. His passion for cooking was infectious, and his instruction was clear and encouraging—perfect for both seasoned cooks and beginners. We enjoyed our handmade creations with local wine at the end of the evening, and every bite was a testament to the care and quality of the ingredients, most of which came from his own beautiful farm on site. The views from Ivan’s home were absolutely breathtaking and added an extra layer of magic to the entire experience. His assistant, Toni, was wonderfully personable and helpful, adding to the fun and relaxed atmosphere. We were also transported to and from the experience by Ivan’s lovely wife, Rosaria, whose kindness and hospitality truly completed the evening. This was a highlight of our trip to Italy and an experience we’ll treasure forever. Highly, highly recommend!

This was one of our favorite experiences we had in Italy! Ivan and his Rosalia at Casale Guarrancino were warm and inviting. They taught us how to make ravioli and tiramisu that was absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful day and we will definitely do this again if we return. Loved every minute of our day with them. Can’t thank the Guarrancino family enough.

We were paired up with the sweetest Cesarine Laura and her son Nicola in a more residential area of Sorrento. Laura & Nicola treated us to an authentic experience of wine, anti pasta and dinner. The gnocchi, ravioli and tiramisu were excellent! It was truly unique to be able to experience Italian cuisine with a local. Would highly recommend and we will be making these recipes on our own in the future!

Our afternoon cooking class with Alessandra & Rubina was absolutely amazing! Me, my wife, and two daughters had the most incredible family experience and loved the food and the lesson. We were picked up and dropped off back to our Hotel, Alessandra & Rubina were great with our two kids as well. Thank you Alessandra & Rubina!
