What a nightmare! I got left behind at the gas station (first break) in the middle of France! Ridiculous! Stressed out completely pissed off! Sunni our guide never bothered to do a roll call before leaving! Got on the phone immediate with Viator they were very nice but it was complicated they had to get in touch with the the guide who wasn’t responding to his phone so I sat there for 90 mins until they realized I wasn’t with them. Then the plan was for me to catch a uber ( at their expense) to catch up to the bus that was left waiting for me until I reached them I’m sure EVERYONE on that bus was pissed by the time I finally got there but not one person said a word to me my facial expression was DO MOT COME FOR ME!!! Now of course we would be arriving at the castle extremely late but the did extend our time there for LEAVING ME behind which was good for the group. Viator did a good job as far handling the situation but it took a month to be reimbursed for my my very expensive uber ride ($307.US ) but I just got it back so now it’s over and I insisted they refund me for the tour which they did so that was good, but NEVER will I ever go with THE TOUR GUY name of company they used ever again. Can’t even begin to tell you how upset I was! But in the end they made it right. Just beware!

Great tour 5 Stars
Location of bus pick up was exact. We were warmly welcomed to the tour by our guide Sunni. He gave us clear instructions about visiting the Mont and when to be back, with a clear warning about our return. We visited during high season, so there were a lot of other tourists, but I would still encourage someone to go. Mont St Michel is a wonderful, historical site that is worth the bus ride and wait in line! We saw the abbaye, had some drinks overlooking the beach, while enjoying the cool breeze (it was 99 degrees in Paris that day - GREAT planning in my part for this tour!). Just a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend Sunni and this tour.

Great Day
Nice excursion! Bus transportation was very comfortable. Got rest stop on way there and back. Did get a chance to grab food due to early start time. Mont Saint-Michel was stunning. No place like it in the world. If you are able bring towels to wade near in the ocean.

Dissatisfied
The information provided regarding the meeting point was unclear and insufficient, resulting in me missing my trip through no fault of my own. I submitted evidence proving I arrived on time and contacted customer support immediately, yet my refund was still refused. The lack of accountability and failure to resolve the issue fairly has left me very dissatisfied with the service

We aim to make meeting locations as clear as possible, with exact addresses, pins, directions, and guide descriptions listed on every voucher, specifying that our welcome staff holds a red The Tour Guy sign outside Les boutiques du palais. On the morning of your tour, our staff was on-site and successfully checked in the rest of the group before the bus departed. Because departure times and entry tickets are strictly fixed, buses must depart as scheduled. Our records show your first message reached us at 7:11 AM, after the 7:00 AM departure time had already passed. While our policies do not allow for full refunds in the event of a missed departure, our team immediately provided a 60% Travel Recovery credit to help you rebook, which was successfully processed to your account. We regret the disappointment this caused, but we hope this credit helps you enjoy an incredible experience with us in the future.

Great experience with Amira and The Tour Guy.
Our guide was Amira from The Tour Guy and she was awesome. She was very organized, kept everyone informed and made sure everything was taken care of and for us to focus on enjoying our trip to Mont Saint-Michel. Her historical stories and guide of Normandy and Paris was also very informative and fun and she also shared a lot of tips on best places to enjoy Paris on the way and back (it’s a long ride on the couch bus and she made it enjoyable and also the break stops in the middle was helpful).

Fun day trip to Normandy
