Awesome not to be missed experience. David was our guide and Vadim our driver. Check in with us day before. Waiting outside hotel at 7.30a in Mercedes, gave us a lovely welcome. Lots of stops for drinks and bathroom breaks. David very informative, spoke English well, toured the museum with us and cemetary, then went down to beach. Had a lovely lunch at D Day restaurant then onto Mont St Michele which is another 90 mins away. Stunning isle, has a bus that takes you across new.causway. It has steep narrow streets with 500 steps at the top ( going up and down) to get to the Abbey. Stunning ancient place very crowded. You can walk the approx 2 mile causeway in about 50 min. David is with you all the way to the Abbey. Stops on way back to Paris. Vadim was an amazing driver. Got back to our hotel near 9pm. What an amazing team David and Vadim are. Highly recommend this trip

We had a wonderful day trip to Normandy to visit the Overlord Museum, the American cemetery and Omaha Beach. Enjoyed a great lunch and then took an afternoon tour of Mont Saint Michel Abby before heading back to Paris. Our guide Alexander was fabulous with great driving (he picked us up right from the hotel) and thoughtful stops for coffee and bathroom along the way as well as getting our tickets and escorting us into each location. Highly recommend!

As a tourist visiting Mont-Saint-Michel on August 12, I would like to share my deep dismay following this visit. First of all, I would like to emphasize that the site remains exceptional. Mont-Saint-Michel is a jewel of French heritage whose beauty, history, and unique character fully deserve their international renown. Unfortunately, the experience on-site was very largely degraded by the visiting and attendance conditions. The main problem is undoubtedly that of overtourism. At no point did we have the feeling that visitor flows were being managed. In the narrow streets of the village, visitors are constantly jostling each other. The climb to the abbey is particularly difficult because the density of the crowd is so high. It becomes impossible to stroll serenely, to admire the heritage, or simply to take a few photographs in satisfactory conditions. This overcrowding creates real discomfort and considerably harms the discovery of the site. Many visitors, sometimes having come from very far away, leave with an impression of stress and agitation rather than with the memory of an exceptional place. Furthermore, the commercial offerings provided seemed to us to be little in keeping with the prestigious character of Mont-Saint-Michel. Restaurants post high prices for often disappointing quality. The fast food and takeout offering is particularly developed, but often to the detriment of quality. For example, seeing a simple 75 cl bottle of water sold for 4 euros leaves an unpleasant feeling of visitor exploitation rather than tourist hospitality. The shops present on the site are mostly souvenir stores offering products of little interest, often imported and with no real connection to the history or identity of Mont-Saint-Michel. We were even surprised to find several shops specializing in the sale of candy. What is the point of such activities at such an exceptional heritage site? It seems urgent to us to restore a true soul to this place by prioritizing local craftsmanship, heritage, culture, and history more. I also wish to draw your attention to the access conditions to the site. In the middle of the summer season, the shuttles are clearly insufficient given the crowds. Wait times are excessively long. Furthermore, these shuttles are particularly noisy. In such a remarkable natural and heritage environment, it would be desirable to consider more environmentally friendly solutions, particularly electric vehicles. Finally, the pedestrian path connecting the parking lots to the Mont could make for a pleasant walk. However, in the middle of summer, walking for nearly forty minutes in direct sunlight without benefiting from the slightest shaded area is particularly painful. The total absence of trees or facilities allowing visitors and pilgrims to protect themselves from the heat seems difficult to understand. Mont-Saint-Michel deserves better. It is essential to conduct an ambitious reflection in order to limit the effects of overtourism, improve the quality of the welcome, diversify the commercial offer, and allow visitors to discover this iconic site in conditions worthy of its international renown. Today, despite all the admiration that the monument itself inspires, I unfortunately cannot recommend this visit under the current conditions.

Anna and our driver were great! On our drive to Normandy, Anna gave us the European perspectives on events leading up to and during WWII. It was a long drive and she engaged our daughters and niece with conversations on art history and a shared amusement with Dance Moms. Anna even confirmed that the restaurant planned for lunch offered gluten free meals for our daughter. While each stop was brief, it allowed enough time for us to walk the cemetery, visit the museum, and explore the Abbey. It was a great way to see this part of the country in a short amount of time. We will definitely return for a more immersive trip!

David and the driver Uni were fantastic- David was so knowledgeable about all of the stops as well as Paris in general. It was a full day of driving in a clean and cool van and enjoyable to explore and learn so much ! Beautiful stops on the tour - so awe inspiring to see Normandy and Mont St Michel is a place out of a fairy tale- highly recommend and request David- him and Uni are awesome !

Driver Ramon was an experienced driver. He was so nice and polite. He allowed us enough time at each attraction and lunch.

We had a wonderful day! Our guide Mickey was very professional, knowledgeable and fun! It made for a great experience. We booked the trip for the Normandy tour, but the addition of the visit to Mont Saint Michel was such a pleasant surprise! It was an absolutely gorgeous place with so much history, but you should note that there is a lot of walking and stairs so wear appropriate shoes! Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Paris!
