Our Versailles Palace tour with The Tour Guy was fantastic, thanks to our wonderful guide, Radka. From the moment the tour began until it ended, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of Versailles. She made the experience memorable and enjoyable for everyone in the group. We couldn't have asked for a better guide!

The tour company chose an arbitrary cafe as a meeting point. We promptly left on a 20 minute fast paced hike to the train station. There were many places we could have rendezvoused closer to the station. The guide hardly looked back on our long walks to the station and from the station to Versailles. The tour was rushed and people were repeatedly left in a room when she moved on, losing connection on the audio guides. The tour was supposed to last 3 to 3.5 hours. When we ended after 2.5 hours, we were so frazzled and exhausted, we were glad to be done.
We had a great guide who was wonderfully knowledgeable about the paintings and history and very careful of us all.
Very good tour. Appreciated that Monika, our tour guide, met the group and escorted us on the train and through Versailles entry. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the palace and also escorted our group around portions of the garden. Definitely worth the money and we appreciated Monika’s expertise and knowledge.
Guide Yulia was very helpful & the whole crew did a great job working around metro closures/cancels with the Pope in town.
I loved the palace, but wouldn’t book a tour with this company (Tour guys). We took public transport there with guide but on our own on the way back. The guide rushed us through every room and when I got stuck behind a group with wheelchairs in a small room, she didn’t wait or do a head count (there were only 8 of us). I lost audio at that point and couldn’t find the group. Tried contacting Tour guys number but they couldn’t contact guide. I would take public transport myself next time and do a self guided tour and take my time.
Wonderful tour of Versailles! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the history of the palace come to life. We learned so much and truly enjoyed the experience. A beautiful and memorable day—highly recommend! 🇫🇷🏰✨
