This was an outstanding tour which exceeded my expectations. Lucio picked us up pier side from our Disney Cruise with our name prominently displayed. During this tour, we stopped by the Colleseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, St. Peter’s Square, and Trastevere. Inbetween these stops we drove by additional and amazing sites of Rome and Lucio explained the history of all these places. This was truly an amazing experience for a one day ship excursion from Civitavecchia. Thank you very much Lucio!!

Amazing time

We had an absolutely fantastic day touring Rome with Lucio. Traveling with four young children in nearly 100°F heat could have been challenging, but Lucio went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience.
He was incredibly kind, patient, punctual, and genuinely pleasant to spend the day with. He thoughtfully adjusted our itinerary to keep the kids cool, made a wonderful lunch reservation with a local friend, and even treated us to his favorite gelateria, which ended up being one of the highlights of the day.
Lucio’s knowledge of Rome was excellent, but what truly set him apart was the care and attention he gave to our family. He made us feel like guests rather than tourists, and his flexibility and warm personality turned what could have been a difficult day in the heat into an unforgettable experience.

Outstanding Tour!!
We booked the Exclusive Best of Rome Shore Excursion (Private Tour from Civitavecchia Port) with the 3-hour Colosseum private guide add-on, and it was absolutely fantastic!
Our driver, Riccardo, was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Thanks to his help and the private nature of the tour, we were able to see and experience far more than we ever could have on our own, especially given my mobility issues. This tour truly made the day possible for us.
The 3-hour Colosseum guided tour with Matteo was an excellent upgrade and well worth it. He was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history to life. We learned so much and would have been completely lost without his expertise.
It was a wonderful day from start to finish. We highly recommend this company and would definitely book with them again on our next trip to Rome. 5 stars!

Wonderful Roman experience

Excellent tour and excellent driver/guide
Booked Drivers in Rome for a wheelchair accessible tour of Rome. Excellent service from the minute we were picked up. Our driver Nic was brilliant, pointing out and explaining the sights we visited. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely use them again.

Fantastico accessible trip to Rome and Pisa/Florence
As a wheelchair user, I was looking for a shore excursions specialist with a flexible itinerary and wheelchair accessible vehicles. Driver in Rome is exactly what me and my family were looking for. I would highly recommend Driver in Rome and look forward to our next trip with you.
We had a great time in Italy with Drivers in Rome. We spent two wonderful days with our driver Marco in Rome and Pisa/Florence.
Due to my disability, I was a bit anxious about the cobbled roads in Italy. However, Marco ensured the drive to Rome and Pisa/Florence was very smooth. Marco was always checking that I was comfortable in the vehicle whilst travelling between sites and was more than willing to adjust the driving speed if required.
Marco has vast knowledge of the history and gave great recommendations for local sights, in addition to the main tourist attractions. We got to see a lot more than we expected, wasted no time in lines, and enjoyed the comfortable adapted van between sites. Pick up and drop off from our cruise ship was very easy and smooth. From the minute Marco picked us up until he dropped us back to the ship he made sure every second of our trip was perfect. Marco’s attention to detail and ability to give us a weekend in Italy to remember forever went way, way beyond our expectations.
