First class experience with this company. Would highly recommend their services. Our drivers for the day were Luca & Lucio & we were very impressed with them. They looked after us extremely well. The day ran very smoothly, from picking us up from the airport in the morning, to dropping us back to the airport at the end of the day. Thank you!
Vlad and Costinel picked up our family group of 10 from the port and took us to a private tour of Rome. We specified what we wanted to see and they did an amazing job of getting us within a block or two of every attraction. They provided precise instructions on how to walk and were there always when we were done. We had 4 younger children with us and the guides were super to them also. The company also obtained our Colosseum tickets for us right on schedule and found a great lunch spot. The price was less than a bus tour from our ship and we had total control in two small vans. Could not be beat! Highly recommend using this group for a fun stress free tour in Rome.
We had a wonderful day in Rome with our driver, Fabio. He was dedicated to helping us have the best experience possible with my husband having mobility limitations. He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure all our needs were met. Fabio truly made our day in Rome memorable.

Our trip was amazing - Lucio (our driver) was wonderful. I’ve been to Rome before, so I was skeptical of having a tour driver since I was on foot before and got to be immersed more. But we did this trip as a family- there were 11 of us including my 83 year old father in law. Lucio made every part of it great: from my 8 year old nephew to my father in law. We got to see tons of places, he never wasted a moment but we also were never rushed. If something only took 10 minutes, he said it. We didn’t have to sit around waiting. He maximized the time for all of us. And it was hot in Rome too: over 90 (F). Staying in the AC van really helped. It was 100% worth the money. Rome is more than a 1 day trip but if you have only a single day, this tour is absolutely worth it! Thank you Lucio from my entire family to you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful and detailed review of your experience with DriverInRome Tours and Transportation! We’re thrilled to hear that Lucio helped make your family’s day in Rome so memorable. It’s especially wonderful to know that he was able to make the experience enjoyable for everyone, from your 8-year-old nephew to your 83-year-old father-in-law, while keeping the pace comfortable and maximizing your time in the city. We completely understand your hesitation about using a tour driver after having previously explored Rome on foot. We’re so glad that Lucio was able to give your family the freedom to see and experience so much without feeling rushed. And with the temperatures reaching over 90°F, we’re happy the air-conditioned vehicle provided some much-needed comfort! We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Lucio. He will be delighted to know that his attention to timing, flexibility, and care made such a positive difference for your entire family. Thank you again for choosing DriverInRome and for recommending us. It was our pleasure to be part of your family’s Roman adventure, and we hope to welcome you all back to Italy someday! Warmest regards, The DriverInRome Team
We scheduled a day in Rome with Drive in Rome. Our driver Carlo picked us up right outside of our cruise ship and we were on our way to Roma! Our whole group thought he was so great. We had a really awesome time and Carlo was super knowledgeable, telling all about the history of different places and other Italian tidbits. We learned so much about all the places we went. We even got to see a number of places that we didn’t know about. We are so pleased that we booked with Driver in Rome and appreciated Carlo as our guide! He really made the trip for us, we wish he could have been with us in the other towns we went to! We definitely recommend booking this for a day in Rome and requesting Carlo as your driver :).
