The fireflies are amazing.
But be careful of mosquitoes as they go into the bushes. If you have overseas insurance, it seems that insect bites during your stay are also covered ^_^
If you charter a boat, you can ride it whenever you want, but they charge 300 baht per person.
If you share a group, it's usually around 50 baht.
Souvenirs like folk crafts are especially cheap, so I recommend this over buying them back in Bangkok.
It's a hassle to go and it's only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but
I definitely recommend going.

Crazy and Amazing Market
You have to go and see this to believe it. 4 times a day, trains come through this market and all the vendors clear the rails of their canopy and put them back when the train comes and go. Great location to take pictures...great experience.
