We were met on time at our hotel by CHAIYA. He was very nice personable and went over our itinerary with us. We were driven in a very comfortable van where Chaiya gave us much information on the areas we were driving through the history of Thailand.We took a train ride from a very remote station to the railway market and experience I will never forget. Next we went to a beautiful temple that was very unique compared to all the others that we have seen. Our next stop was the floating market how much fun to ride through these canals, wide and narrow with many boats and vendors to purchase food drink and souvenirs. We had a great lunch at a very local restaurant and our final stop was our last temple. Also, a very unique setting. Nothing we have seen before. This is a do not miss day in Bangkok. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent excursion! Picked us up at our hotel and took us to some far flung places we wanted to see. And accommodated a change in itinerary for us. Tony was an excellent driver and Chaiya has a wealth of knowledge!

This was a great experience. Our guide, Kitty, was so good. We got to go on the train as it entered the market (Kitty found us seats by a window) as well seeing the train from the ground later as the train left. It was very crowded but that’s all part of the experience. The boat ride at the floating market was fun, and the vendors weren’t as pushy as I expected them to be, which was refreshing. We had a lovely lunch and also got to see a temple, and an art workshop which was of particular interest to me. One of the two temples was closed so we went to a coconut plantation to see coconut sugar being made. Kitty was very flexible, knowledgable and helpful, and took loads of photos for us which we loved!

If you visited Hanoi and were having a drink while the train was passing, this is a more disorganized and smaller version than Vietnam. Side-to-side businesses may feature fresh fruit, meat and fish that are superior to Hanoi, but the style is the same. It's one more stop on this tour. The Floating Market is more interesting and well organized. Something else. I do not advise buying anything from the boat, because everything is more expensive.

This was an excellent day trip to discover something a bit different. The trip gave us so much more than we were expecting. Having a guide with so much local knowledge and understanding was so helpful for the markets. Being vegan we wouldn’t have had a clue what to buy, but Chaiya was so good at finding us delicious street food to try. He was very chatty and had a lot of information about the country and so much passion for it to pass onto us. We saw so many beautiful places and the experience of the train street and floating markets were such a highlight for us.
