The floating market was packed with goods and food; the boat-based noodle stalls were truly impressive. A big thank you to our guide, Prang, for the mango sticky rice we enjoyed on the boat my child absolutely loved it. She was incredibly attentive and provided excellent service, even helping us negotiate prices. Prang was lovely and friendly a truly great guide. Afterward, we continued to Ayutthaya. The journey didn't take long, giving us a chance to rest in the car before exploring the site. We took plenty of photos and saw the ruins and the famous Buddha head entwined in the tree roots. We ended the tour on a high note, and I would certainly recommend this experience to others.

We highly recommend Poppy!
Poppy and the driver took such good care of us from a prompt pickup to drop off. She’s friendly, has a great sense of humor, and is very knowledgeable and attentive. At the railway and floating markets she had us try many local specialties, helped us avoid overpaying for souvenirs and took photos for us. Poppy also made sure we followed proper behavior in the temples. The driver ( I apologize for not remembering his name) made us feel safe and helped us out of the car, made sure we were well-hydrated with cold drinks and cold towels when we returned to the car. They also made an extra stop so I could get my coffee and gave us lots of opportunities for bathroom stops at good facilities. In spite of a lot of traveling and coverage on this tour, we highly recommend it. It gave us a day off in our itinerary and the tour was not exhausting at all because they took very good care of us.

Great day trip with time to relax between stops
Starting at the railway market was super neat, watching vendors pull back their fruit and veg stalls right as the train came through. After the floating market boat ride, we had a nice long nap in the comfortable van on the way to Ayutthaya. Nok was so sweet and attentive throughout the entire trip. Thanks nok!!

Unforgettable experience
The private boat at the floating market was so exciting! The river was filled with boats selling fresh fruits and food so colorful. Afterward, Ayutthaya took my breath away. The old brick temples look amazing in photos. Poppy took such good care of us and knew all the best photo spots!

Vibrant markets and beautiful old temples
The floating market was so lively and colorful! Cruising past all the boat vendors selling coconut pancakes was really fun. Then heading to Ayutthaya to see the ancient ruins was unforgettable. Lada was a fantastic guide, very kind and easygoing.

Three Very Different Sides of Thailand in One Day
I liked this tour because every stop felt completely different. Maeklong was full of energy, especially when the train came through and the vendors cleared the tracks in seconds. At the floating market, sitting in the boat and passing all the small stalls was a nice change of pace. Then Ayutthaya surprised me the most. Walking around the old ruins after the busy markets felt like we had travelled to another part of Thailand completely.
Poppy was great company for the day. She has a fun personality, knows the best places to stop, and gave us useful tips along the way. It’s a long day with plenty to see, but I’m really glad we chose this combination.

Perfect one-day tour
You get to see a little bit of everything on this trip! Fresh fruit and souvenirs at the train market, a bustling canal boat ride, and magnificent ancient temples in Ayutthaya. Nida was super easy to talk to and very helpful throughout the whole day.

Loved every minute of it
The railway market had so many cool souvenirs and fresh fruits to try before the train arrived. Then the floating market boat ride was super lively and fun. Ending the day walking around the grand old temples in Ayutthaya made the whole trip totally worth it. Poppy made everything so smooth!

Wonderful Guide and a Great Experience
Poppy was the best part of the tour. Very kind, attentive and always checking that we were comfortable. The explanations were interesting and easy to follow, and we got plenty of help with photos along the way. We enjoyed the railway market, floating market and the beautiful sights in Ayutthaya. Everything was handled so well and we felt taken care of the whole day.

A fun and interesting tour.
We had an interesting and fun time on this trip, which combined the two quite touristy markets and some history at Ayutthaya. The train at the railway market had to be seen to be believed! Ayutthaya was very impressive, and our guide Preecha explained everything and took care of us throughout the day. It's worth getting up early for and paying for a private tour.
