We booked a private walking tour of Matera on 12th April ‘25 with Gaetano from Renato Favilli Guide Turistica. Gaetano was very knowledgeable and it was extremely obvious that he was very proud of the city’s history . We would thoroughly recommend to anyone!
I went on the tour to the ancient city of matera with our guide Nico and I was accompanied by two other people , I was greeted and introduced to our other participants,it was explained what our itinerary would be , the journey was pleasant, the tour was really enjoyable , we were shown so many different places , tasted the food and visited the local people and some of the industries they were still involved with , Nico was friendly, facilitating and a wealth of knowledgeable, he made us feel at ease and I would recommend the tour Michelle Dublin Ireland
Stefania was great! We really enjoyed our tour! I highly recommend a guided tour in Matera. I also recommend visiting the model house to have a feel of what it was like to live in one.
Angela was fantastic. Her English is very good and she knows her stuff. She gave us a great tour and made good suggestions for things to do on our own.
