We were having the most wonderful day with our small group excursion when, half way through the wine tasting, I had a funny turn and succumbed to the heat of the day, and the tiredness accumulated over the previous days by fainting 🤦‍♀️ Missed out on lunch, but was looked after so nicely by all involved, and a different car was sent to take me back to our cruise ship, where I was able to sleep off the rest of the afternoon and fully return to normal. I really appreciate how flexible and accommodating they were and promise myself to go back and resume the tour next year I was particularly annoyed at missing out, as our guide that day had been the best we’ve had all through the 10 days cruise: full of information, but delivered in bite size pieces you could digest, and with a great sense of humour.

Dimitris has been a driver/guide for this company since 2019 and his passion, warmth, extraordinary knowledge about the land, people, history, plant and animal life, geography and agriculture comes through every interaction. You know you have a wonderful person when the resident dog(s) of every restaurant, historical site, business, and village come to greet Dimitris when we arrive, all waiting for him to pet them and give them love. That is Dimitris, his passion and love for what he does and for people is evident. Truly a memorable and exceptional experience that we will never forget.

We wanted to try something a little different than just a regular cruise port/island tour so we chose the olive oil/wine tasting which also included a traditional Cretan lunch. We were a group of 15 Canadians and no question, this tour surpassed everyones expectation. Nasos was our guide, he is very knowledgable and passionate about his product and the tours he provides. Communication is excellent with this company and everything went as described and expected. The lunch was served in a 400+ year old building in the old town and it was delicious. I would not normally ordered these items off a menu so it was really nice to have the opportunity to try them. We had the opportunity to see lots of the island and finished the day in the Old Town. This is an excellent tour, do not hesitate to book this!!

My mother and I loved our experience. Our tour guide, Nikolas, was polite, knowledgeable, patient, humorous, and so personable. We really enjoyed our time with him, and he made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The wine tasting class, our lunch, and the views were truly special. Something we will not forget. I highly recommend!

First time experiencing another country, and the time we spent on this tour was worth every cent! Nikolas, the name of our guide, proved to be knowledgeable, funny, and most importantly sincere when speaking to us. We were treated with the utmost respect and were laughing and learning throughout the entire excursion. It was a personal, first hand look into the local culture that you can’t get on your own! Do not miss out on what Crete has to offer in this tour, highly recommend!

Good variety in the day , history, wine and olive oil tasting and off road Dimitri was an excellent guide again

Dimitrius was a fantastic guide. He taught us so much about the area and was so kind. We had a great day on our tour and would recommend to others.

The guide is very kind, friendly, and fluent in English. We can feel how much he loves his place through his talks. The places he took us to are all meaningful sites and gave us many interesting information. We could taste very nice olive oil and various wines with some snacks. The restaurant we had a lunch is so nice for both foods and stunning scenery. We enjoyed the view of the White mountain and Samarian gorge. The only missing point is that the tour doesn’t not include olive oils making experience, but it’s not really a big deal compared to other parts. And you should control yourself not to drink wines too much.

Our guide, Nicholas, was the best! He made our tour so fun and he was knowledgable and personable. The tour winds you up in a nice vehicle into the white mountains. The wine tasting was so fun and great to learn about the others in our group. We then drive further and end at a restaurant in the Samaria Gorge where the views were breathtaking! We highly recommend this tour.
