Our tour far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Linh, was fantastic! Knowledgeable, fluent in English and asked us for our desires at the beginning of the tour, leading to a delightful afternoon. Our driver picked us up from, drove us during the tour, and dropped us off at our hotel in a comfortable and clean vehicle adequate for our party of 3. Thank you Viator and this operator. Phenomenal experience!

Took the half-day private city tour with Linh guiding and Thang driving, and both were excellent. Linh had reserved us a great spot right by the Hanoi Train Street, which made all the difference. Just as valuable on a hot day: Thang knew exactly where to drop us off and pick us up at each stop, so we spent as little time as possible out in the heat. Linh's insights into the city's history brought the sights to life. Taking a private tour was so worth it, we were able to ask so many questions and had them answered. Had we gone on a non private tour, it would have been difficult to get a word in as you have to keep up with everyone else. Linh took wonderful photos of us making sure we were positioned perfectly. If you want to learn about the deep history of Vietnam, going private is the best way, the guide is there for you and no one else. We truly enjoyed this half day tour, it wasn't too long and it wasn't too short.
Great experience- our guide Lan was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about Hanoi. She was friendly, engaging and fun. I highly recommend this tour and you would be so fortunate to have Lan as your guide.
It was awesome. Ling had so much information about the sites we were at. There were problems, like our car breaking down, but he handled it very well. We just wish we had more time in this amazing tour. We booked the 5 hour one, but the company messed it up and gave us a 4 hour one, but it was ok because we were compensated with extra drinks and food. Would 100 percent reccomend this tour
We were allowed to make changes to the tour; we just had to pay the extra entrance fee. Lan was great at explaining the historical sites. The tour only took 3.5 hours, so perhaps the mentioned stop at the Opera House could have been included after all. We highly recommend this tour
There were three of us traveling with our tour guide Linh and his driver. The trip took us to many things that one should have seen in Hanoi. Although the weather was absolutely terrible, we had a truly wonderful day. Linh and his driver reacted totally flexibly to our wishes (since we had already seen some of the planned spots), adjusted the route and sequence of the spots to the traffic and the circumstances, so that we had little time in the car and a lot of time at the spots. We were guided past the tourist crowds with a lot of knowledge and had plenty of time at each spot to enjoy it. Linh told us a lot about every point and encouraged us to ask many questions - the atmosphere was absolutely relaxed and friendly. There was also time for private topics and information about the country and its culture. We also received additional tips for our own excursions (rooftop bar, restaurants, food...). Linh speaks very good English, so communication goes smoothly. Positive: there were NO tourist traps (that you can only leave once you buy something). In summary - absolutely recommended and would gladly do it again anytime. Our expectations were exceeded.
