This experience was worth taking. The fee was not too much we did river water tubing, horse back ridding in the rain the was very nice, took pictures on the bridge and did the mug bath, and hot volcano pools. the atmosphere was great especially since we have Marvin as a tour guide for the second time.

We've done many day trips in several places in the world, and this may be our favourite one yet! Marvin looked after us so well! With helpful tips throughout the day, to the history of the area we traveled, to finding rare berries that grow wild near the volcanoes, he added little details that made us feel like we were soaking up true Costa Rica. The stops throughout the tour were picturesque with no crowds at all. Rainforest, waterfalls, horseback riding (or tractor if you prefer), Costa Rican lunch, wildlife, and a hot springs experience in an active crater. We feel like we got everything we wanted to see in just one relaxing day! Thank you so much, Marvin!

Marvin made our day amazing. From great experiences, like swimming at the waterfall and horseback riding, to a waterslide and amazing hot springs, the day was packed with genuine Costa Rican experiences. Marvin took the day to the next level, though. He made our meal effortless (despite our food allergies), went out of his way to find wildlife for us, and immersed us in his culture (from local berries specific to volcanic regions to local traditions and phrases). We've been on day trips in several countries, and this one might just be the best one yet!

We were picked up and Cesar was very professional and spoke very proudly about life in everyday Costa Rica. Very informative of the tour schedule and kept it relaxed and on point. He actually did spot a Sloth family at the volcano area with a 9 month old baby and allowed many photos. Made the day to them in their natural habitat and not in a cage. The day was fun and full of action. On the way back him and Maik made a driving detour and found a small troop of Holler Monkey’s and we stopped to do photos and really hear just how loud they are. We chased waterfalls through lush jungle trails, spotted the sleepiest sloths tucked high in the trees, and even came across snakes and vibrant butterflies along the way. The guide Noel and our driver were incredible, pointing out wildlife we would have completely missed on our own and sharing so much knowledge about the ecosystem. The hike around Miravalles Volcano was stunning, and the hot springs at the end were the perfect reward. And yes… the volcanic mud? Fully embraced it. Messy, fun, and surprisingly relaxing.
