We would also like to clarify for future guests that, as stated in the tour description, this experience is intentionally divided into different segments, with approximately two hours of walking and approximately two hours of touring by van. Different guides may therefore be involved during the different portions of the experience. We take your comments about the communication and overall experience very seriously. Some of the most interesting and beautiful places we visit are tucked away on smaller streets and areas that aren’t accessible by vehicle, so a certain amount of walking on uneven pavement is part of the experience. Our 4-hour tour is designed to combine approximately 2 hours of walking with 2 hours of sightseeing by bus, as described in the tour information. We understand that the amount of walking can be a matter of personal preference. Some of Mykonos’ most beautiful and characteristic spots are best experienced on foot, as they are not always accessible by bus or car, and we want our guests to have the opportunity to enjoy these special places up close. We would like to clarify that not all of our guides are licensed tourist guides; some are experienced tour leaders. Our team consists of experienced local professionals, including tour leaders born and raised in Mykonos, who have been sharing the island with visitors for many years. We were also surprised by some of the comments, as our guide informed us that you chose to leave the walking tour early to have lunch at a restaurant, and that you were disappointed there was no time for swimming - something that is not advertised as part of the tour. We believe there may have been a mismatch between expectations and the experience offered. We therefore kindly encourage all future guests to read the tour description carefully before booking, so they can make an informed decision about whether this particular tour is right for them.
