From the moment we were met at the port to the time we were left to get the sea bus back to the ship we were looked after exceptionally well. Andrea and George were brilliant. They took us to the best spots for photos and told us everything about the island. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excursion and have no fears that they will get you back to your ship before it leaves
Our tour of Mykonos and the lighthouse with Andrea was an exceptional experience. Andrea has been a resident of Mykonos for 36 years and holds dual citizenship in the UK and Greece. Her deep knowledge and familiarity with the island, its people, history, and culture were evident throughout the entire tour. What made the experience especially enjoyable was Andrea’s warm, kind, and respectful style. She brought the history of Mykonos to life by sharing personal experiences and stories alongside the historical information, giving us a much deeper understanding of the island and its culture. We booked the Shore Excursions Group: Mykonos Old and New to see the island on our Mediterranean cruise. Quick, comfortable bus transport for a medium group (about 24). Excellent driver George. NY transplant Christina led the tour for a local company called I Travel Mykonos. Clear crisp English (with a hint of NY remaining). Perfect introduction to the island. Saw all the "must-sees": lighthouse (windy w/great pics and info), windmills, little Venice, the winding port streets, a gorgeous beach, and a little "local" bakery that is clearly for the tourists. Highly recommend for your first trip. Next time we will wander the port and spend more time at one of the stunning beaches!
