I didn't feel that the definition of the boat ride to the caves was accurate. It made it seem like we would be going into the caves, really all we did was pull in and back right out. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water though. The monastery was ok, especially the museum. Our guide was pretty good, although his accent made it difficult at times to completely understand him, but he never seemed to mind when we asked him to repeat himself. Loved the old town and would have preferred to spend a little more time doing that, than going to the monastery.

We’re sorry that the boat ride did not meet your expectations. Our tour description refers to a 45-minute boat ride along the sea caves. Whether and how far the boats can enter the caves depends on the sea conditions and is decided by the captain for safety reasons. Nevertheless, we understand how the description may have created a different expectation, and we will review the wording to make this distinction even clearer. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the guide’s commentary and the balance of time between the monastery and Old Town.
