We tasted some very nice wines in both places. The views from the second vineyard were amazing, just a shame the weather wasn't that nice. It might have been nice to spend longer after the tour to sit and have a glass of wine without feeling rushed.
We really loved this tour. Both wineries were lovely with the smaller one being our favorite as it was small family run. The larger winery we felt there was pressure to buy with the smaller one zero pressure.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely day with our tour guide Cecili and our bus driver Pietro. This was a wonderful way to see the countryside without the stress of renting a car and driving ourselves (which was the original plan). Both vineyards we visited were breathtaking and rich with history. Our bus was the only group at each location so the visits and tastings still felt very small and personal. I would recommend eating breakfast before the morning tour as eating is not allowed on the bus or at the vineyards. Some snacks are included with the tastings but not a full meal. This tour was a great option to do on a Monday as well. Many business and attractions in the city are closed on Mondays so it’s a good day to do a tour like this and see the countryside.

The half day wine tour was a great way to get out of the city and see Tuscany. We stopped at two different sized vineyards and had a nice time trying different wines
The bus was comfortable and the wineries that were selected were beautiful. This tour is perfect for those who want a quick taste of what the Chianti region has to offer.
Overall a good tour but note the following: 1 Advertised as group of 24 but there were 45 of us in one group. 2 Large group resulted in lost time with wine tasting 3 time for enjoying additional wines and the scenery/atmosphere was very restricted 4 overall very rushed experience but enjoyable. 5 very limited food to go with the wine tasting - tiny pieces of cheese and bread.
We were late for pick up and the tour guides Lucy and Foreze???were so gracious and kind to us. We were able to meet them for the se one half of the tour and had so much fun! We learned a lot and saw beautiful views. We were a group of 5 and there were other families and friends there.
