Not the tour we signed up for, but experience was excellent
We were hoping to see both waterfalls as listed in this title. However, we were notified a few days ahead of time that they were cancelling this tour since we were the only ones signed up. They offered a full refund or an "upgrade" to a slightly more expensive tour that only went to Godafoss. We were disappointed, but could not find any other way to see Dettifoss. We had a great tour guide and we saw some sights that weren't on our agenda. Skútustaðir Pseudo Craters

We toured two waterfalls...
We toured two waterfalls (Godafoss and
Dettifoss) and a crater (Hverfjall) at a leisurely pace. No rushing from one place to another. Staying a little ahead of time gave us a chance to stop for a quick photo shoot at Lake Myvatan. We had a comfortable ride, lunch and bottled water and convenient rest stops. Jon (a native from Akureyri) was a wonderful tour guide. Our party agreed that he is one of the best tour guides we’ve had.

Great tour, our guide was great. Nice to do a small tour although listed as no more than 15 people and we had 19 but not a big deal. The provided lunch was amazing, simple and good.

Our Tour Guide, Bo, was...
Our Tour Guide, Bo, was the best we have ever had on our travels! He knew so much about each stop, regaling us with funny and interesting stories. If you do this tour, bring a bug net for your face. The waterfalls are both amazing in different ways!

Awesome tour/Awesome guide-driver
This tour was by far the best one we took while in Iceland. Our Guide/driver Elsa, was not only knowledgeable & informative but so sweet & kind. She accompanied us at each stop but gave us leeway to adventure out on our own too. She was also an excellent driver & not only told us about the history & significance of each stop but since she grew up in Akureyri she knows all the local stories too! I highly recommend her & this tour!

Great guide to Godafoss & greenery!
Perfectly timed stops with an excellent guide. Peter was personally interesting while keeping us on schedule and informed on all things Iceland! Everything was well coordinated, and the stop for complementary coffee, pastry and the clean bathroom stop at the small hotel at Godafoss was a nice bonus. Great scenic tour and a wonderful guide.
