Bernat guided our Montserrat hike and he was awesome — super knowledgeable about the terrain and just fun to hike with all day. Pro tip: it's a real hike, not too hard, but you're climbing a mountain so come prepared! Bernat was great about lending a hand on the trickier spots when my balance got shaky. I really enjoyed the mix of a quick stop at the church followed by an actual workout outdoors. Highly recommend.
Ramon was a wonderful guide. Taking the cable car up and then doing the hike down was a really nice way to do it.
Our guide, Bernart, made this visit unforgettable. He was knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about the mountain's history and the monastery. He struck the perfect balance between sharing rich detail and letting us take in the views at our own pace. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit Montserrat!

Highly recommend this excursion! Our guide, Eugenia, was wonderful. She expertly blended the history of the monastery with great insights into the region's unique geology and local plant life. The cable car was a fun way to get down the mountain. The transport was top-notch as well; the van was incredibly comfortable, and the driving was smooth and safe the entire way. Due to the heat and fire restrictions, the hike was short, but provided a us a nice, unique view. All in all, it was a perfect day out! We are a family of 4 and all had a great time!

If you're looking to escape the city for an adventure, I highly recommend the Montserrat hiking tour with the Catalan Trails company. Our guide, Burnat, was like a walking history book and storyteller—extremely knowledgeable about the area's history, Catalan culture, geology, trees and local plants. He also knew the best rock-climbing spots, hidden shortcuts, and the most spectacular viewpoints along the trail. The hike itself was perfect: not too easy and not too difficult—I'd describe it as a moderate-level hike. If you choose the optional climb to the summit, it's absolutely worth the effort. Overall, it was an unforgettable hiking experience!
A very nice, informative, and entertaining trip from Barcelona. Great impressions in a beautiful landscape, with breathtaking views. You get a very good impression of the monastery, the church, its history, and the nature in the surrounding mountains. In addition to historical facts, which are never presented in a boring manner, there are also explanations about geology, flora, and fauna. With a young, nice, athletic tour guide who is very considerate of all participants, it is incredibly fun. Be sure to wear good and comfortable footwear (closed shoes). Overall, the hike is about 6 km, mostly downhill, as the elevation difference is overcome at the beginning by the cogwheel train. You are back at the meeting point in Barcelona in the afternoon and can calmly plan for the evening. Thanks to the organizers, highly recommended. A small note: if you want to visit the museum, there is no time for that.

Truly, the most unique experiences I’ve ever had. My favorite part was the breathtaking views from above during the hike. I also loved the cable car experience. To be in the same place that the pope will be visiting next month was an unforgettable experience.
