We've had an amazing tour with Dan, our guide. Even myself as a Romanian I've been pleasantly surprised and discoverred new things about my own culture. All my work colleagues who came visiting from all over Europe ( Denmark, Italy, Portugal, etc.) were impressed by the history and also the way in which Dan managed to captivate our attention with small ester eggs and sense of humor. I would 100% recommend you give this tour a try!
We had a wonderful trip together with our guide Daniel… you could tell he is extremely passionate about the topic and answered all our questions with expertise. We would definitely recommend this trip if you want to get a real understanding and a nuanced image of communism and its rise and fall in Roumania and what it has meant to the Romanian people… Eye-opening!

The tour was amazing and our guide was really really great. His name. His name is Daniel and he’s very knowledgeable about history and you can see. He has a passion for it.. he was also very gracious and helped us when we were hit by a terrible storm in the middle of the tour. He helped us cover and protect ourselves from falling trees. We had an absolutely amazing tour with Daniel and cannot recommend him enough. He was incredibly attentive to the needs of the group and always made sure everyone was engaged and enjoying the experience. What we especially loved was how interactive he made the tour. He showed us photos and videos of the historical events he talked about, which made everything so much more interesting and memorable.
