Marti's tour is the best way to start your visit to Belfast
Booked a tour with Marti on our first day in Belfast, and what a good idea that was! Despite the rainy weather, he provided a fun, informative, and unique perspective of the city that ended up being a great primer for the rest of our trip. Marti's love for his city was apparent and made the tour feel authentic and personal. Do yourself and your vacation a favor and book this tour. Thank you Marti!

An Excellent Introduction to Belfast
Having arrived in Belfast on Saturday afternoon after a 30+ hour journey from Australia, we were seeking a top-quality introduction to Belfast and its history together with the right level of entertainment.
We struck it lucky with Marti. The history of Belfast is complex and Marti was terrific in taking us through the significant milestones in Belfast history before we set off walking around the city. We would have NEVER (ever) noticed or seen the endless landmarks or points of history which he explained to us, linking the stories together.
Marti is a passionate lover of history, Ireland and of course Belfast and I con confidently confirm that he single-handedly helped us piece together a framework of knowledge which was both so interesting and informative.
Marti’s Tours are most definitely unique🙏

History lesson with views
Our tour guide, Marty, was extremely knowledgeable all things Belfast. He gave us a history lesson at the beginning to lay the groundwork for the remainder of the tour. We walked all over Belfast and he knew facts about so many of the establishments, the buildings, the best food fare, drinks. Oh and people recognized him and the friendly greetings between them was sweet.
I very much recommend this tour and I planning to do his other tours upon returning to Belfast. Oh we did go have a Belfast coffee upon his recc and it did not disappoint 🍀🍀🍀

Fantastic tour with Marti. Excellent guide, historian, and storyteller. We were so happy to book this tour as we saw so much more than if we had explored Belfast on our own. Book any of his tours, he will not disappoint!

Belfast Day
Although Marti had a ton of knowledge about the history or Belfast, he spent too much time talking about it before we even started our walking tour. But to his credit he spent longer than the time allotted with us. The later part of or tour was great. He definitely is a personable chap.

Thank you and am happy to read you enjoyed our time together on what was a damp day. So in keeping dry covered most of the comprehension off the tour, before setting off to discover the city. And after bringing you back closer to your hotel. As you say your only day in Belfast. And hope I helped you discover info for the others places you travelled to on this wee island.

Peace and Love in Belfast
We thoroughly enjoyed Marti's eclectic tour of Belfast. Our coach tour of Ireland provided a lot of information;we wanted to hear more about the city and its history. So much of what we heard about Belfast was about conflict and violence. Marti provided excellent background on the history of Belfast and filled in many gaps; but, he also wants people to know that most residents, no matter their personal beliefs, simply want to live in peace. He showed us many hidden gems along the 2.5-hour walk. By the end, we felt like we really knew the city and had a greater appreciation for those who call Belfast home.

Thank you, and am happy to read I helped you understand this wee island a bit better. And yes it true we have mostly moved on from that troublesome past. And do our best to live in peace and harmony now. And as part of our time together like to take visitors closer to the people, off the beaten at time so you get a real feel of Belfast. Thank you for your kind words and hope you'll visit again to explore more of this fab wee city.
