Reece was amazingly knowledgeable about Berlin, its history and its vibe. As first time visitors to Berlin this tour was super helpful for us to get a take on this unique city. I highly recommend the alternative Berlin Tour, we loved Reece, and his life- view.
An absolutely fantastic tour. Rhys really knew his stuff, and it was amazing to see the “unseen” parts of the city… places that tie together so much of Berlin’s historically cultural and political history in a very cool and beautiful way. A+ tour. Kick ass guide. Highly recommended!
The guide was super easy to find at the meeting point. He was friendly and personable from the start. The tour was excellent and informative, gave you a real insight into the Berlin story from a locals point of view, lots of history before and after the wall came down. Would thoroughly recommend, seriously enjoyed it. One not so great thing was that the tour was advertised to finish at Stralauer Allee 34, but actually finished near our start point. It just meant the thing we were going onto had to be moved to another day, so not really an issue.
Reece was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the alternative side of Berlin. I would highly recommend this tour.

Berlin is very eclectic and not easy to grasp so this tour provided us with so much information and understanding about how people lived and live, a mix of history and fun facts, meaning of graffiti, things you don’t read on tourist websites, recommendations for clubs & other entertainment spots. Our tour guide Rhys is an amazing storyteller and a character himself, he is awesome!
Excellent experience. Antonio was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I saw new parts of Berlin and it was organised at an enjoyable pace. Thoroughly recommended.
Must do trip A walk through arts and history
We went to some cool neighborhoods we would not have found outside the tour. The street art was fabulous, cool parks/gardens and our lunch stop was in a foodie mecca. Our guide was long winded but provided us with lots of information. He also navigated us through public transit closures with ease.
