We had a wonderful & insightful taco & mezcal tour experience with Viry. Wondering through the beautiful neighborhood of Polanco, Viry shared interesting culinary stories as we sampled tacos from four different taquerias. The mezcal tasting was equally informative & fun. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour and tour guide to others.

I had just arrived to Mexico City and staying in Polanco area, I had an amazing experience on this food tour and getting to know our neighborhood for the wk. Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable, she made our tour so much fun and we learned a lot about mezcal! Highly recommend!!

This was a super fun, delicious, and educational tour. Viry is an exceptional guide with a deep knowledge of the foods and beverages of Mexico. The taco stops were all great in their own way and the Polanco neighborhood is a treat to walk around. There was the perfect amount of walking- not too much but enough to have a little time between stops. And the mezcal tasting was also very informative. We loved every bit of the tour.

The tacos were beyond amazing, and I even discovered a mezcal I liked! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and made a new friend in CDMX. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic experience with Viry as my guide. Got a wide range of tacos in short period of time, and Viry gives you background history of tacos and mezcal. The area of Polanco was slso gorgeous. I’m from Southern California, so lots of Mexican food; however, you learn the Mexican food in America is only one type of Mexican food and that the Central and Southern regions of Mexico have their own cuisines. I was a solo traveler in Mexico City and the only person who signed up for this tour, but it still happened. Super grateful Mexico Food Tours still gave the tour as a private tour vice cancelling! Thank you so much Viry! If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!!

Excellent introduction to the world of tacos and mezcal. The guide is friendly and knowledgeable and the walking between venues is limited. The tour is in the upmarket and safe Polanco district, very close to Polanco metro station. I could have kept going all afternoon - every stop was delicious!
