We had an amazing time with Jesus, Ivan and Mario. We were with Ivan for the English tour and he was very informative in an engaging way. The visit was 3 hours long and we did do a lot of walking but at the end we weren’t too tired as we had the experience of a lifetime.

Unfortunately this was our only negative experience in Mexico City. It was really messy and confusing finding our tour company at the meeting spot as there are other tour companies that use the same meeting spot and various events happening there. It all seemed really disorganized. When our guide Sergio arrived there was an audible grumble from the people waiting as he was wearing a political garment that a lot of the tourists found offensive. Because of this some of people who were supposed to be in his Spanish tour basically jumped ship and joined his colleague Diana on her English tour, making her group way too big so it was difficult to hear her as she had to guide a really large group while he only guided a few people who were willing to stay in his group. Diana seemed perfectly nice, knowledgeable, and professional and I would probably recommend her as a guide but we could only hear part of her tour since the group was so enormous. Why are there so many positive reviews of this company you may ask? At the end of the tour on the bus ride home Sergio makes every single person open a QR code on their phone and leers over them to make sure they write a positive review. It was just a weird and largely negative experience. The site itself is wonderful, I just wish we went with a different company. We did another 4 guided tours during our trip and closely checked every one booked on Trip Advisor and Viator to make sure it wasn’t a Paseos Olmedo one.
