Cristian was extremely accomodating and helpful for our group. He was very knoweledgeable and made sure he positioned us in the best way to view the sites.

We had a terrific day with Umberto. He picked us up in a very comfortable van at a convenient location he selected for us. He freely shared his love and knowledge of Sicily. When we spent less time at some of the stops he adapted and brought us to others areas of interest. He was generous with his time even after the tour by answering our inquiries about other things to see and do in Palermo. We were extremely fortunate to have Umberto as our guide.
Umberto knows where the best cannoli and Genovese cookie can be found along with a deep appreciation for the culture, architecture, and history of the area. Every corner brought us a beautiful view and another interesting story.

Our driver and guide was Cristian. A very pleasant fellow who was committed to us having a good time. Segesta and Erice were the the highlights. He joined us for small stretches of the tour but also let us have our space to explore. Excellent driver. Always felt safe with him. Trapani was a bust. The salt pans are seasonal and not worth the time to see. Saw one mound 3 feet high. Probably should amend the itinerary. Also came to to Trapani at siesta time and the town was close up.
Sights were excellent. The guide was good but not amazing. While he gave us some information about the sites he wasn’t as informative as we hoped. He also didn’t escort us at two of the four stops which we thought was a bit odd.
Umberto was a wonderful and knowledgable guide. He also took us to a couple of pastry shops during the day to sample the best cannoli and Genovesi cake.
We spent the day with Umberto touring three very different and unique places: Segesto, Erice and Trapini. It’s hard to pick a favorite of the three, but if I had to I would say Erice. This city is very beautiful sitting on top of a mountain. The churches, buildings and castles were non like I had ever seen before. Umberto was very friendly and provided a lot of good information about the places we visited as well as Sicily.
