Wonderful Day Trip with Umberto
Umberto was our guide/driver. He spent every minute accomanying us at Monreale and Cefalu. Both towns are worth seeing. Had a great lunch in Cefalu. Umberto discovered that we were interested in Sicilian ceramics and took us to master ceramist' studio and factory where we met the owner and his family and given an impromptu tour of their process. This was totally off the books but appreciated by us.

Our driver Gaspere was great. Was at our service and made us visit exactly what we wanted. He gave us a good recommendation for the restaurant by the sea. And explained the history while driving

Beauty around Palermo
We had read of the beauty of both Monreale and Cefalu, but this exceeded our expectations. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and added an extra dimension to just seeing these sights.
