Good way to view city before deciding what you want to see

Johnathan and Barry were awesome. There was a medical situation and we had to switch buses and they kept everyone calm and it was smooth and we kept on moving!

The best way to get around the city is to hop on and off. Our tour guide, Jamie, and Lita were very knowledgeable.

Covers the city’s highlights well, but also crowded. Go in the morning. Garden District tour guide started 15 minutes late and was exhausted from doing so many tours back to back.
The guides were excellent and informed, the bus drivers were safe, and the route was excellent. I felt that we got a good combination of transportation and information over the two days that we had the past.
We purchased the 2-day pass and Garden District tour. The guides on the busses were excellent and all staff was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Logan did an excellent job on the garden district walking tour. The route took in major sites in and around the Quarter, garden district, and downtown. Recommend using the website which show all stops with ETAs of next bus. The busses run every 25 minutes, which is too long to fully take advantage of the hop-on/off feature unless you start very early. Last bus at most stops is 4:08 which also limits how much you can see in one day. If your hotel is walkable to the Quarter, and you know what you want to see, Ride shares (Lyft/Uber) are plentiful, reasonable, and economical alternative, but won’t give you the narration you’ll get on this service. Bottom line, if you’re planning to take as narrated bus tour and a walking tour of the Quarter or Garden District, Hop on/off is a decent if somewhat pricey option. If not, and if you know exactly what you want to see, there are more economical alternatives.

Tour guides did a good job explaining the sites. Nice way to view the city, only down side for us was the weather!
